Hi PH! 🐱‍👓 I'm Alex. I focus on making productivity and health related apps. I've recently launch and app based on the method of 5 Whys. ❓ ❗ This method of getting to the root of a problem is very popular among tech companies and will be really helpful even in everyday life. I decided to optimize it into an app. https://www.producthunt.com/post... Have you tried this method before? 😸
Wilson Bright
@aleksandr_lanin hi Aleksandr, I tried the product. I like the idea. To get started, would it be possible to have a common templates to reference. It will help in solving the writers block.
Matthew Behan-Fossey
@aleksandr_lanin Hi Aleksandr, I checked out your PH post as well as your website. I really liked how you laid out your methodology in an easy to read and consumable format on the product hunt post, well done. I also really like your app store photos, they look professional. I did notice a small mistake in the first photo on your PH post, you spelled "efficiency" wrong. Not a big deal, just thought I'd point it out for you.
Aleksandr Lanin
@matthewbf oh! Thank you so much for catching this! And many thanks for your positive feedback!
Wilson Bright
Hi, My name is Wilson, maker of https://blocksurvey.org. It is free now and soon transitioning to paid version. Any feedback on landing page, usability and idea is most welcome.
Ștefan H. Fárr
Hi @wilsonbright, the site is good looking and seems straightforward to use. What's not clear is how do you ensure anonymity of the "surveyed". At least this is what comes to mind mind first from an end-user perspective when you say "Anonymity" - I want to be sure that the person that surveys me cannot find my identity. I work in the corporate and I answer several surveys a year. Most of them are designed to be anonymous, yet there is always the question of "are they really". I've seen this as a concern for most people. If by anonymity you understand isolating the survey, it's responses, the surveyor and surveyed as a whole from other such tuples (there were some hints to this in your blog section, but not completely clear), then perhaps you have some potential as of yet unexplored avenues in your tool. Good Luck!
Aleksandr Lanin
@wilsonbright hi Wilson! I like the colors and structure. However, I am not fond of the part "BUILD AND ANALYSE SUPERIOR FORMS". The bullet points seem a bit tilted, you know? I understand this might be a part of the design, but that's what has caught my eye. Overall, I really like the idea of this service.
Wilson Bright
@stefan_h_farr Thank you for taking time to write. I'll communicate the 'Anonymity' in a better way. Yes, the person who surveys cannot find the identity of the individual taking it. There are zero digital footprints with respect to identity and location within BlockSurvey. I have consciously made a choice not to run a any trackers or analytics.
Wilson Bright
@aleksandr_lanin Thank you for your thoughts. I have noted them. Appreciate it.
Amir Kerawala
@wilsonbright I like the simplicity of the website, not crowded with information. Easy to read and following. Best wishes!

Happy holidays everyone! My name's Shihab and I make a Mastodon social network client called Mast (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ma...), as well as a beautiful notes app called Allegory (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/al...). Would love to know your thoughts!
Rares Cruceat
Hello! I'm Rares and I would be very happy if you guys will give me some feedback about this app called Code News. Keep in mind that this is an app only for developers. This is the landing page -> https://codenews.app/ (the app is free so you can check it out). I would also like to know how many of you like to read programming news and how often?

PHfam is started as a fun project which has now a total of 70 users from 20 countries. Do check and share your thouts: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Nazlı Temurtaş
Hi, I'm Nazli. We are making a developer tool that converts Sketch designs to responsive mobile UI by generating Swift code: https://mondayhero.io .In Monday Hero, it's possible to convert layers into buttons, lists, collections and other components, It's free. Coding UI is a repetitive task and takes so much time. it is also our problem so wanted to solve it for every mobile developer:) We're trying our best to make it really usefull, please let me know what you think @iosdevswift
Matthew Behan-Fossey
@iosdevswift @nazli_temurtas Cool landing page, very clean and attractive. The product idea is also interesting. I did notice that your "Monday Hero" and logo on your navbar don't link back to the home page. Other than that looks good!
Ijoma Blessing
@iosdevswift @nazli_temurtas Are you open for a partnership? If you have API for this or have plans to build one in near future, lets talk. We're in the process of building something similar for Hourspent developers. I think a partnership is better this time so we can focus on something else.
Nazlı Temurtaş
@iosdevswift @ijomablessing Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yes sure, we can discuss your need and talk about it. On tuesday, we will launch on product hunt, but on wednesday, we can talk about it if you are also avaliable :)
Alin - Catalin
Hey makers 👋 My name is Alin and in 2019 I've started Sane - a guided journaling app looking to help you get started and keep journaling via different guided sessions. I've soft-launched a pretty simple MVP in September but in 2020 a new, feature-complete version is coming. I also have this huge goals of reaching $6500 MRR by the end of 2020 (aim for the starts to reach the moon style). Starting January I'm going to share the entire journey while building and growing Sane so if you want to follow along you can follow @usesane & @alincatalin on Twitter. Also - if you're interested in journaling and want to give Sane a try you can subscribe on the PH Upcoming page below 👇 https://www.producthunt.com/upco...

We just launched. Our product is designed to make drone delivery safer. We've built a parachute recovery system so the drones do not come crashing down. We are live on the front page: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Josh
@tristan_adlington Thanks. Somewhat foolish to think we put flying swords in the sky that can cause wildfires without thinking what happens if the man made electronics go down.. 300 acres burnt in Arizona - https://www.bbc.com/news/technol... Drone in Japan hits crowd - https://dronelife.com/2018/01/05...
Tristan Adlington
@josh5 It is when you put it like that. This would make a great cross-sell whenever anyone purchases a drone in the first place. Your customers would actually be a great fit for my recent launch, www.ugenly.com - We help brands avoid the hassle of content creation by allowing their customers to submit and sell content back to them (imagine some of the places people take your drones! Would be great to have them take pics for you!) If you like it you can buy the content, if not, don't bother. Its free - we just take commission on any sales.
ByteBeacon
Would love some positioning advice on Navigator: https://navigator.bytebeacon.com ( Smart search bar for your website ). We're also on boarding early users on our free pilot program. Please signup and reach out if interested.
ByteBeacon
@tri_do We can map the triggers (opening the widget and action character) to other keys as well. Happy to take this offline with you if you have a site in mind to try navigator on? Also, which program / software did you already have the ' ctrl + space' binding for? Thanks for the feedback!
ByteBeacon
@usamaejaz Could you describe the API functionality a bit more? What custom actions / you had in mind?
Tristan Adlington
Hey Product Hunters! I am looking for content creators and photographers to beta test my first product launch, www.ugenly.com Ugenly is a marketplace for creators to sell content to their favourite brands.
Tristan Adlington
I run a brand, and I've always struggled with getting great, authentic content. While my star customers send me great content, I wanted a way to reward them while also ensuring my company can use the content freely throughout all our marketing. Hence I have created Ugenly. I would love some early stage feedback.
TL Robinson
@tristan_adlington I absolutely dig the concept! This definitely helps to create a direct pipeline between influencers and brands. I like it because it gives the consumers many more perspectives in which to see their favorite products and connect better. I'm not a content creator or a photographers. But, I wanted to share the feedback. Good luck with it!
Tristan Adlington
@tl__robinson Thank you for your feedback - glad you dig it! You've hit the nail on the head. It could be a great engagement / marketing tool for brands in its own right.
John Bauer

Raunak Agarwal
Hi, my name is raunak i have launched newsletter Https://Bestof2019.substack.com It consists of products from various verticals 1. Productivity tools 2. Chrome Extensions 3. Saas 4. No-code tools 5. Automation tools Pls check & let me know for feedback, & if you like you Subscribe it's free 😅😅
Matthew Behan-Fossey
@raunak_agarwal1 Hey Raunak! I checked out your website, subscribed to your newsletter, and tweeted about it as well. My feedback: 1. I like how people can "Read it first", this helps to see some of the content 2. That being said, when you first come to the landing page there isn't much information and it just asks you to subscribe, forcing the user to either bounce or dig for information. I think if you added just a bit of information about the newsletter it would be easier to understand from the get go. Goodluck and I look forward to reading your newsletter!
Chris Wills
@raunak_agarwal1 @matthewbf - I agree with Matthews point. You need a bit more context on the home page. Even something short like what you put in your post above can help people better understand what they are signing up for.
Raunak Agarwal
@matthewbf @cwills Thnx I, ll make changes very soon & new newsletter coming on 28th Dec & thnx for feedback really appreciate this 👍

Hye makers!! I am super excited to join the community and looking forward to learn and grow. Currently, I am involved in a Saas startup with their product marketing and strategy. https://www.bigdatacloud.com/ (New website will be launched soon). It would be great if there are any developers in the community who have been using IP Geo Location or Reverse Geocoding APIs. BigDataCloud uses completely different approach compared to any other vendors in the market for identifying location based on the IP. Your feedbacks on the APIs would be tremendously useful. If you want to try it out, it is free to use.
O Park
Hi all, my name is O and I'm building https://www.GoodnightJournal.com. Online journal with a community that connect people who writes personal journals. Would love you get your feedback and suggestions :) Happy holidays!
Matthew Behan-Fossey
Hi PH makers! I'm new here and want to get more involved, I figured this would be a great way to get started. I'm building https://www.partizion.io/, a tool for people who work in the browser - it helps you save tab configurations and quickly open them later. I would love some feedback on the landing page! Cheers :)
RemoteRant
Hey @matthewbf Saw the landing page and yeah, it is simple and cool and the GIF sums up all the things you're gonna provide. Simplicity is cool! One more thing, the descriptions can be brief so the user doesn't have to rush through the lines. Maybe this "Partizion allows you to be more productive in the browser. You can organize and separate your work environments (eg. work, school, personal) and then quickly open or switch to anything seamlessly" can go something like "Be more productive by organizing and separating your work environment (eg. work, school, personal) helping you seamlessly switching between tasks". Just a personal thought. Apart from the landing page, I am using a chrome extension like this which doesn't show the tabs in the viewport but in the extension itself. Maybe it'll not be useful for those who love their cat wallpapers on the new tab. 😅 But who knows, I'll surely give it a try once you launch it.
Matthew Behan-Fossey
@remoterant Thanks for the feedback! I like that, I'll work on updating the copy. In regards to the view port vs extension view, this is something I've been wondering about. I personally don't have a wallpaper/use the new tab for my most used tabs - I'm sure you are right though and that many people may prefer to keep their personalized background. I will keep this in mind!
Chris Wills
@matthewbf Great idea - I currently use separate browsers to separate out what I'm working on. This is a nice way to accomplish this all in one browser.
Matthew Behan-Fossey
@cwills Thanks! If you you'd like to be notified when its ready make sure to signup at https://www.partizion.io/beta
Dmytro Strukov
Hi! I'm the maker of https://getcustomer.io service to find potential customers. The idea is simple: You know better best sources of finding potential customers, add them and receive notifications by keywords or automatic replies to reach them first!
Usama Khalid
http://contentdrips.com/ Need your feedback on landing page and also share a nice tagline for it.
Aleksandr Lanin
@usama_khalid hi Usama! I am not very fond of the colors, especially how that look together. Not sure whether they match or not. I also think it lacks selling poit. What problem does your service solve?
Wilson Bright
@usama_khalid Hi Usama, The dark blue color seems really strong. Probably, finding a good color palette would make it look consistent and beautiful.
No name
@usama_khalid Hi Usama, your landing page is appealing, but some colors simply need to be lighter in my opinion, like for the blue css color you can try something like this css for example: #2f78d7 it is almost the same blue, but smoother for the eyes. I would do the same for the yellow. When your page is done, look at it for about a minute, and ask yourself if your eyes feel comfortable on it, if they're not, continue to lighten the colors until your eyes are fully comfortable on the page, that's just one idea to have a comfortable page for the eyes.
Amir Kerawala
@usama_khalid Hello, I agree with others on color, some of them feels too strong and mismatch. I think you should give little more detail of what you do and make the video little faster by increasing the speed on few frames. Best of luck.
Pick A pie
@usama_khalid I think the pure blue is out of place. Everything is soft and pastel and then that blue kicks you in the eyes. Desaturating it a bit should help IMHO.
RemoteRant
Hi, I am a remote developer and faced so many things like burnout and loneliness. Just launched the product https://remoterant.com for remote workers and digital nomads who can rant and share similar problems and connect to more remote workers. Still in beta 😅. Just wanted to take some harsh feedback on the landing page.
Tristan Adlington
@remoterant Not a rant ha, but I think PH prefers if you don't make your account a company but yourself so that people can see the maker behind the product.
Angela Coronado
Hi, I'm Angela, illustrator for https://cashcoach.io/ , a fintech app that gamifies saving. Hey all. Founder @ https://www.producthunt.com/upco... We're going to be developing an AI application to help prevent user churn for small and medium sized SaaS businesses. Basically, we all need to keep more of our users and there are patterns in your user's behaviour that humans simply can't infer, so I thought we'd let the machines do the hard work! I'm looking for some small ish companies who would be happy to let us tweak our AI on your data. We don't handle PII, just anonymized user data (technical stuff). Let me know if you want a hand in helping forge our AI model, in return for free analysis on your users most at risk of churning, and why! :)
