Do you think cold outreaching works? We're trying different approaches but still skeptical.

I'm trying to implement an email funnel but still not sure if it actually works or not. I usually delete those emails the second I saw them in my mailbox making me think of why people are still doing it.
How was your experience with outreach? Does it worth a shot? What tools do you use?

I'm doing a bit of cold outreach at the moment.
Mostly via twitter. Basically looking for people who are tweeting about issues around what my product solves - so I know it's currently on their mind.
Small sample size but the close rate is ridiculous so far.

@sven_radavics That's a tactic I guess. I haven't tried Twitter for cold outreach before but sound like it worths a shot. Do you directly pitch or just connect and get to know each other first?

@egeyalcinkaya I directly pitch - but as above - it is to people that are 'talking' about what my saas does. So anyone discussing co-marketing or partnership marketing, for example.
send free value value value (warming) then pitch.

I am the same with you haha, I don't think I've ever clicked on a link from a cold outreach e-mail.
I feel like cold outreach works great in the B2B sector, emails are far more important for businessmen than a normal person. Business professionals are more likely to pay close attention to the emails they get and if you provide good value to them through your emails, the chances of them remembering it and maybe even purchasing the service are higher.
Also, you must make sure that the source from which you're acquiring your outreach database is providing you with good and relevant information or not. I was once doing cold call outreach for a mentorship program and faced a lot of problems in closing sales because the leads that I had received were students, but they were not those students that were interested in the course I was selling. After that, I decided to not purchase leads from an outside source and generate those myself using a lead generation tool. I started using Aeroleads since it was the only one that fit our budget and we were able to generate a lot of relevant leads for us with it.
So make sure that your source of lead generation is reliable and that you are providing some value to those leads.
All the very best!
An email with "Use our app for Free for 30 days" might work, you need a hook and be straight to the point about what you do in one sentence.
I will be using cold outreach in the later stage. I think it just became more demanding when it comes to people willing to click on your emails.
They want value without getting their credit card out. Building trust is the way to go.
