Me & my co-founder were working on a mobile app. We encountered couple of major issues including UI sluggishness and memory leaks which were not easily reproducible. We started writing some code to capture such issues in production, and we kept adding other capabilities. Finally we decided to productise that and thus we came up with Finotes (https://finotes.com)

Initial idea or problem-space comes from own experience, a problem you have suffered. Then refinement comes with user conversations.

Skinive AI: Skin Scanner, health checkup
Before https://Skinive.com, I was involved in the development of other telemedicine ("remote medicine") and noted that about 20% of all patient questions were related to skin diseases. Patients had to wait a long time for an answer from the dermatologist. Market research indicates a large shortage of specialists: on average, there are only 35 dermatologists per 1 million inhabitants in the European Union, which is clearly insufficient. The emergence of artificial intelligence gave the solution, especially high-precision artificial intelligence solutions for medical imaging processing. Unlike complicated X-rays, MRIs and CT scans of internal organs, taking pictures of the skin is much easier. Through these developments, skinive has automated the assessments of skin conditions with the help of artificial intelligence and a smartphone.

We pitched our technical skills to anybody who needed it - Spent 6 years using those skills to solve various problems in different industries - understood each industry better - better knowledge about the industry gave us insight into the problems that weren't being tackled adequately - looked for solutions, but couldn't find one - built the solution. It wasn't the fastest way for sure. But we learned a tonne along the way.

I stumbled upon a problem that needed solving, and realized there was no solution in the market. So I decided to create one myself. It's been a challenging but rewarding journey so far!
We were constantly finding ourselves asking each other where certain files were located, who had access to them, or how to find a Figma design. Despite using Google Drive, Notion, Slack, and Figma, we still struggled to stay organised. That’s when Wildan, our CTO, proposed an idea of building a search engine that could scan all of our apps and find any needed data with a simple title or keyword search. This is the story of Klu.so :)

@sandradjajic That's a great idea! It sounds like it would be really helpful for staying organized and finding the right information quickly. Have you started building it yet?
@samalyx Yes, we are planning on adding few new integrations and that will be done by 17th of April. Right now, we are in public beta so feel free to try it out. We would appreciate your feedback :)

Our CEO came up with the idea of Mailmodo when Google announced AMP for email. All seasoned marketers know how emails are great for ROI, and with AMP in picture, the possibilities multiplied.

At superworks(dot)com, we are solving our own problems. When I was in my last organisation. We have Seen lots of problem when we are using different tools for different people and we data is not at right place. We have identified that problem and we start taking interviews of lots of people who are in same ICP. Then we understand that everyone facing same issues. So we have finalise to build it.

I read the azure devops documentation, it mentioned a technology and Launchdarkly. But I can't go with Launchdarkly because as a developer tool, it's not open-source. So I created my own.

I came up with my startup idea after identifying a problem that I and the people around me faced in our daily life, which was hardness for my colleagues to communicate effectively when WFH during the pandemic. Then I began brainstorming ideas for a product that might able to solve the problem and improve individuals’ WFH communication and collaboration. Through research, experimentation, and feedback from potential customers, I was able to refine my idea and develop it into a viable product which is Gemoo. However, the issue of reduced communication efficiency due to the impact of the pandemic has become less urgent, so Gemoo is now exploring more directions and trying to help people communicate effectively and improve their self-efficiency in more fields.

I think the key is to think about what you could improve on a day-to-day basis, either in your business or in your personal life.

We had a software development company, and saw that many of our clients experienced the same issues with back-end systems (expensive, slow to develop, hard to maintain). Wanted to make the integratione and tools parts easier on them :)

I had a lot of ideas, and I rated three things on a scale from 1 to 10 for each of them: how much profitable they may be, how much time they would take me, and how much the idea fulfills me. The idea with second highest overall score won, because it had the highest "fulfillment" score.

As the founder of BulkGPT, I'm excited to share the story behind our innovative platform. Before BulkGPT, I was developing a software that scraped through hundreds of LinkedIn users' profiles. The software would then feed the collected text along with job descriptions to the ChatGPT API, generating customized LinkedIn greeting messages (a feature we plan to incorporate into BulkGPT soon). During the development process, I realized the importance and necessity of bulk ChatGPT API requests. I identified that there were other individuals and businesses using ChatGPT to process large volumes of data or inputs, who could also benefit from the ability to perform bulk API requests. Moreover, I recognized that many non-technical users needed to carry out repetitive ChatGPT tasks. These users would spend their entire day at their desks, waiting for a full response from ChatGPT before starting the next request. This observation made me realize that having a tool to streamline this process would be incredibly valuable. With this in mind, I set out to create BulkGPT - a platform designed to empower users with bulk ChatGPT API requests and save them valuable time. By offering a user-friendly interface and efficient processing, BulkGPT aims to transform the way individuals and businesses interact with ChatGPT and manage their workflow. I make music. Sometimes I look for instrumentals on YouTube, then write to the audio. Rather than saving them separately in notes, I made https://lyrist.app.
