I do Martuni Mondays in San Francisco! It always gives me something to look forward to. Best piano bar in the city, and Monday is the BEST night for it.
Gym, Spotify weekly discovery list, small cup of coffee and smth small sweet that goes with coffee, making a doable list of task for a day, accomplish at least one task from the list. Helps me every single Monday.
No seriously, I do not let my days of the week have an end in them, they are all just days of the week! And then you can’t just be looking forward to those two days of the week that goes so fast. I live every day like it was my last🫶🏻
As crazy as it may sound, I have started to look forward to Mondays since the pandemic! I guess it put things in perspective. It has made me realize that the problems I used to consider significant, such as Monday blues and other daily concerns, were actually trivial in comparison to the challenges we've faced. Also, I absolutely missed being able to get out of the house and go to work. So crazy as it may sound, I look forward to Mondays now! :)
I snoozed this mornign. Woke up at 7 am but then come back to sleep. It's always like that, every Monday! DOES SOMEONE HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS? I've tried everything :)
begin with gratitude - for the sunrise, the scent of coffee, the possibility of a new week. marvel at the mundane, find magic in the mundane. welcome monday as a friend bringing new tales.
next, let your intention guide you. not just tasks and to-dos, but the heart of your week - what's the essence? what are you really aiming to create, to experience? this reframing alone can transform blues into bursts of inspiration.
also, remember to pace yourself. it's a week, not a sprint. don't rush to cram all your tasks into monday. spread them out, give each its due time. rush not, stress not.
nourish yourself - a healthy breakfast, a moment of mindfulness, a little stretch. start from a place of wellbeing. the body's state influences the mind, and the mind paints our perception. care for the body, feed the mind positivity.
connect - with a loved one, a colleague, or a pet. connection sparks joy, and joy is a potent antidote to blues. maybe it's a morning greeting, a shared joke, or a moment of shared silence.
finally, do something you love. a hobby, a passion project, a favourite song - start the week with joy. remind yourself of your passions, your loves. let these paint your monday vibrant.
so, yes, we can beat the monday blues. with intention, care, connection, and joy, we can transform mondays into a launchpad for a fulfilling week. it's all in the mindset, the approach, the rhythm of our daily dance. welcome to your vibrant monday.
Figure out what is giving me the scaries or blues and at least start the task. Generally what's giving me the blues is not nearly as bad as I'm making it out to be. A good sweat early in the day helps a ton too.
I think that if you start doing something, no matter what the main thing is to start further, it will pass by itself, Monday is considered to be a hard day after rest. But the advice is to work on the weekends)
Here's my advice to you: implement the second brain approach. When you get used to setting weekly goals, your brain will be prepared and ready when it sees a clear plan in front of it.
By simply embracing a Fresh Start: Instead of dwelling on the end of the weekend, view Monday as a clean slate, a chance to set new goals, make fresh plans, and embark on new adventures. Embrace the opportunity to start the week with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
I feel this! but my solution was to just...take it easy. You don't have to subscribe to the Monday rush if you don't want to, simply treat it as any other day and do things at your own pace :)
