Hey community 👋, A simple question or point of discussion I would like to start and take review from all of you. Is it true that AI is gonna replace SaaS solutions and lead the world? Got inspiration of this question from a comment on a product….

In the upcoming decade I think AI will help SAAS platforms to grow and improves their functionalities.

AI might influence and enhance SaaS, but it won't replace it entirely. AI will likely cover some aspects of SaaS, but the complete replacement isn't feasible.

Yes i agree with Amit Kumar. AI will not replace SaaS, instead it's enhancing it. By integrating AI in to SaaS platforms can automate tasks and provide personalized experiences, making them more efficient and user-friendly. This collaboration between AI and SaaS is leading to smarter solutions that adapt to user needs. Those who says AI will replace SaaS wants to sell their AI products.

It's the era of agents. I think a lot of the business logic embedded in these SaaS-based systems of records will eventually get abstracted away into an orchestration layer, where various tasks and business processes are handled by agents who are not tied to a specific back end.

@zeeportia Yes, I also believe that the SaaS systems will embed AI within them to increase their verticals but replacing SaaS is kind of Impossible.

@kaustubh_rai1 - i think it depends on how forward-thinking / adventurous some of these companies are. Did you see Klarna's recent announcement for example? ended their salesforce contract completely.
