Lessons Learned from Launching My Handwritten Letter App

I’d like to share two setbacks I encountered. Despite thorough testing before the product launch, two issues still came up.
On launch day, some users downloaded the app and logged in using Gmail, while others used Apple login. Unfortunately, there was a bug with the Apple login that prevented users from successfully logging in.
After subscribing, one user was still unable to access all the features. After receiving his feedback, I apologized and thanked him for bringing it to my attention. I then spent 8 hours troubleshooting the issue. The toughest part was that the problem occurred on some iPads but not others. Eventually, I identified the cause late at mid-night, fixed the bug, and released an urgent update. However, some users were still dissatisfied and chose to request a refund. I completely understand their decision.
Even though I resolved both issues as quickly as possible, I lost some users who were initially interested in the product.
The reason I’m sharing this is so that you guys can avoid similar issues when launching your products.
