Honestly, it depends on the tasks. For writing, I prefer Claude, and for coding as well, but OpenAI is overall better, more comprehensive, and has far more practical benefits.
However, I use both daily. So, when I don't find a solution with one, I immediately turn to the other. Therefore, definitely both. OpenAI is more complex, but Claude is on a higher level with certain things.
I use Claude play devil's advocate to challenge my ideas and cloud architecture designs. Compared to OpenAI, I find it generally provides more thoughtful and unique insights.
Claude offers great performance, but the word limit can definitely be a challenge. OpenAI, on the other hand, provides more flexibility with longer responses.
@oleg_eltsov OpenAI because it can search internet in real time on the free plan so far, just give it an URL. I couldn't ask that to Claude. But Claude has better redaction skills
It depends on the use case. OpenAI (like GPT) is great for natural language processing tasks, creativity, and conversational AI. Anthropic's Claude is known for a focus on safety, interpretability, and responsible AI behavior. For a startup, if you're looking for versatile and engaging AI, OpenAI could be the go-to. If you want a more safety-oriented and controlled AI, Claude might be a good fit. What kind of startup are you working on?
