The team got Product of the month before I joined, now the pressure is on for the next launch
I’m relatively new to the community and excited to be here! I've been working closely with the Recall team for some time, but I officially joined as a co-founder in October 2024. Before that, the team had a great Product Hunt launch, and this time, I’m playing a much more active role in preparing for our next one—so I’m spending some time ramping up.
I was an early hire at Uber (2015) and later joined CloudKitchens in its early days. Now, at Recall, I’m truly having the time of my life! Looking forward to connecting with and learning from this community.

@rajiv_ayyangar great to connect! I genuinely think Product Hunt is an incredible platform for startups to get their first real kick—our last launch changed everything, we can truly attribute a huge part of our growth to it. Since then, we've been on a whole new trajectory. The leaderboard experience is always thrilling. I do think it would be really helpful if there were a way to filter product tags for the day so you could easily see who else is launching in your category.
Since I always appreciate candid feedback on Recall, I’d like to share some thoughts on the "Notify Me" setup:
1. If you’ve already launched a product before, your teaser image is a 1x1 square instead of a 1x2 banner. This wasn’t immediately clear, so I spent quite a bit of time adjusting my image.
2. The character limits for the launch description (260) vs. the "Notify Me" page (255) seem minor, but it threw me off! I spent ages trimming my description to 260 characters, only to realize I had to rethink it again for the notify page.
3. I think there is a bug on the "updated" status when saving changes, its unclear if it really updated.
I'm still warming up to the forums, but I love the sense of community—it makes the process of building feel a little less lonely. Of course, I’m incredibly grateful for my Recall team (I’m having the best time with them!), but knowing there are others out there who understand the highs and lows of this rollercoaster is a real comfort.
