I believe that because of Meta copying and integrating features from their competitors (Snapchat, Twitter and others) they will create a monopoly on social media. Instagram added stories a feature on snapchat that is really popular. Slowly they will make a platform which has everything a user needs. Also they will try to buy everything just like Whatsapp.

Sounds like a rehash. It might go well for some time due to the hype. But it'd be hard to experience steep growth beyond a time without any innovation that attracts people.
If it enables me to download streaming video, it would be better than Twitter!!🤡
Defenetly will try, on begening that can be good aquasition channel something like ClubHouse few years past, but I do not think so that Threads will have place between other socials.
I think anything new that evokes an experience in people's minds can become popular on social media and become hot topics on social media.👌

Through my observation Threads feels like a social media getaway atm since it’s new. It’s gonna be the extension of yourself ( if you’re really happy with yourself) or a newer or bolder version of you, like a booster from something new.

@notnminh @notnminh187 I think it will be a formidable competitor to Twitter, but that is good, we need competition - for them - to have more innovation. Also, who knows, maybe the two apps will cater to two groups of people, like how Reddit and Tumblr had their own identities.
New platforms like Threads add to the digital landscape's vibrancy.

It's good. Instagram has youth audience and people are already connected with people they know. On twitter, people get connected with public and it takes time. Instagram is onboarding audience along with their followers, it looks like Threads will takeover to Twitter for many audience.
something funny to think about, threads is basically adding "text" posting to instagram.
they've essentially just added a light version of facebook to instagram.
twitter just keeps getting better.
