What pisses you off in life? Be real.

Hi PHerz! This is not a problem discovery post lol. Just a normal chat to see what others face in their daily lives, cause building stuff and in general trying to do things in life is a roller coaster. For me, a lot of stuff piss me off hah! However, one thing that does a lot, is the fact that I see the majority outsourcing their lives to the "system". I see people still admiring folks like Elon Musk, people working jobs they dont like and being ok that they will work for 40 years, without realizing they only live once. Buying the newest cars, the newest iphones, posting fake things on social media. Without even thinking the consequences of all this. Feels like people gave up on thinking for themselves. Anyways, hectic day, so I felt like sharing a more "deep" topic. What about you? What pisses you off in this world?

Interesting take! It does feel like a lot of people are running on autopilot, following paths they didn’t really choose. I think what frustrates me most is how easily creativity and independent thinking get sidelined in favor of fitting into predefined systems. Feels like we’re encouraged to consume more than create. But, conversations like this at least keep the questioning alive, keep sharing with us :)

@whatshivamdo very crucial statement "consume more than create" you could not phrase it better. I see the same pattern, a world full of distractions that aims to keep us from creating. Not really sure how this will be fixed, and also to be honest, what seems a bit bad is that the inventors/creators/entrepreneurs of the world (might include us into that), we focus on things that are trending and can raise VC money. And not solve problems.

@cryptosymposium Yeah, it’s a tricky cycle. The attention economy thrives on keeping people passive, and even creators get caught up chasing trends instead of solving real problems. And I am too unsure, about where's the end of this hollowness in people's mind. Maybe someday, people will encounter a good mindshift :)

I think I have made peace with everything in life. However, it does bother me when I see people who are blinded by shiny objects and unwilling to understand that we must not allow other people's ambitions, goals and wants to be ours. Shiny object syndrome is what we need to be away from.

@rohanrecommends that's good. Im trying to make peace with everything. However, easier said than done. I guess we should not care for what we cannot control. But yeah, shiny object syndrome is terrible.

I don’t like unharmonious teamwork. A harmonious team can drive the entire project forward more effectively, and everyone knows this. But in actual collaboration, there are always disputes and unfriendly behaviors that affect the whole working atmosphere and the progress of project.

So many people spend their time stuck in work that neither helps them grow nor gives them fulfillment—just to survive. I wish we could live in a world where people could slow down and enjoy life a little more.

@kay_arkain that is very true. I mean, everything moves super fast and people always fomo for things we dont really care or control. Wish we could all slow down a bit indeed.

We should start a thread dedicated to having a "Monday Moan"! Get everything out of our systems, to set us up for a productive week. Along the same thread as you.... over-consumption pisses me off! and the lack of responsibility companies take within their business models. when I see brands promoting recycling ahead of reducing or reusing I instantly flag that company for greenwashing.

@natasha_007 very true. I think a Monday Moan is NEEDED. well, i think my thread is a Monday moan for sure hah! And yeah, everything is about over consumption. It is not about creating value anymore, just about extracting.

Having to do boring things, but i guess it is what it is. But i believe good things come in life slowly, and the slowly it comes the better it is. This small boring tasks add up to the big picture.

Feeling trapped in broken systems is exhausting. I wish change wasn't so slow.

For me, the delays in the supply chain process really pisses me a lot. I can accept a delay for once or twice, but if it happens frequently, it would affect the entire workflow, such as marketing and sales.

What pisses me off? Unnecessary complexity. Whether it’s overcomplicated processes, pointless meetings, or people making things harder than they need to be—it’s frustrating. Life’s already chaotic, so why not keep things simple?

Totally feel you on this! It's wild how many people just go through the motions without questioning if it's really what they want. The whole "outsourcing your life to the system" thing hits hard—people chasing someone else’s dream or just sticking to what's "safe" without realizing they're trading their one shot at life for temporary comfort.

For me, what gets under my skin is seeing so much potential wasted on chasing superficial stuff. Like, why stress over getting the latest iPhone when you could be building something meaningful or learning a new skill? And don’t even get me started on social media—it's like everyone's living in a highlight reel, pretending everything's perfect while ignoring real issues.
