From my last startup I learned that it is the punch you don’t see coming that knocks you out. In out case that was a customer who chose to go back on a signed contract. Expect things to go wrong and be ready to roll with the punches.

I suggest that the most valuable lesson one can learn from a mistake or failure is resilience. Many successful people have experienced numerous failures and mistakes, but they don't give up. Instead, they learn from their mistakes, adapt to the situation and try again. Resilience allows individuals to keep moving forward despite setbacks, failures or mistakes. It helps them to bounce back stronger, and eventually attain success. So, the most valuable lesson individuals can learn from a mistake or failure is to never give up and to keep trying until they succeed.
