I can't find ways to use AI images in our content marketing plan now because they are very artistic. I am genuinely in more need of infographics and at the moment we cannot create infographics with AI.
I think it can help give inspiration for design ideas or branding in a shorter time. Faster execution.

Testing new creative can lead to huge improvements in Facebook and Instagram ads in my experience ā so it could potentially be useful if AI reliably generates new iterations on creative.
Or imagine if AI personalized the creative in ads ā think of how Netflix thumbnails are personalized for each user. (Example: If you're a fan of Robin Williams, he might be on your thumbnail for Good Will Hunting.)

As it stands; from what I have been playing around on MidJourney, DALL-E, StableDiffusion (various platforms, including the excellent NightCafe) - I find it useful for characters, things, art but not quite ready for prime time, as it were.
I cannot prompt yet to have a "Blond girl drinking a can or Coke on Venice beach." Things come out wrong - text, hands, placement etc...
But the thing is that those problems will be solved at one point. Then it will be interesting what we cannot do. The only barrier is the pricing - but if they are staying in the range of 30-50 USD per month, it can be a good alternative to stock sites.
Apparently, a few players are trying to get into the marketing images space like leonardo.ai (invite only) and while we can train (and we should) it is not there yet. 2024-25 maybe a different story.
Answering your question: not much impact yet from a practical use case. That said, I am prepping a presentation deck using only images from AI generated images. Fun learning experience.
Could think of a few things:
1. The whole marketing process would be simplified.
2. An individual can become a marketer
3. Can give a starting point for a lot of marketer
