@kevinbell43 Drawing from previous experience working with startups (I work at UnbugQA and we provide both recruitment and QA Testing as a service), I'd say it's a matter of the available resources and the scope of the project. Most startups tend to opt for QA testing services though since a team would be doing the work instead of one in-house QA Engineer

I will recommend you to hire a QA testing service company. Last month, I used one of the service company to install these house parts and therefore, I will again suggest you to go for a company instead of hiring an individual engineer.

I know it's been a while, but I agree w/ @tuy_pin and @carolyn_marshall1. If testing is too much for devs to handle, outsourcing makes the most sense, given the cost and priorities as a startup.
