I've been a customer for longer than I can remember. 1Password is an essential app for me and many people here at the office. The only thing I'd like to see is the Windows version become as good as the Mac.

@ebsalberto I agree with this. Been using it forever. Windows app lacks compared to the amazing Mac app. Of course the linux app has been begged for on forums for years and years and will likely never exist.

Hey everyone, I'm one of the 1Password developers! This has been a huge achievement for our iOS team, there are so many new goodies to share in this release.
Since I just got my iPhone X, I've been unlocking 1Password over and over with my face and it never gets old :D
My favorite feature, though is quick copy. You can tap to copy your username, paste it anywhere, then as soon as you return to the app, your password is automatically copied without any more taps. That's why the slogan is "Efficiency abounds!"

@cohix is there an Authy-style Today widget for 2FA token generation? That's something I'd really like to see in order to switch away from Authy.
@chrismessina That's something we've looked into and it something we still want to do at some point, but there's no definitive plans right now, especially since getting 2Fa codes without unlocking is tricky business. The new favorites screen does however get you very quick access to 2fa codes!
@cohix I like the idea of quick copy, but for some reason when I copy my username and quick switch to another app, it copies the password instead. The only way I can get it to copy my username is to swipe up (home action) and then manually open or switch to another app. A swipe left on the home button always seems to result in a password copy, even if I wanted the username. Other than that, love the product, and faceID
@cohix @xcadaverx I'm experiencing the same issue and it really slows down the basic username copy action I take if I have to go home to launch the app rather than use the quick slide right on the bottom of the screen to switch to the last app.
@sripaladugu @xcadaverx that's actually a bug in iOS 11.1, it'll be fixed in 11.2 and we'll have a workaround code fix in 7.0.1 :)
Congrats! One of my go to apps over the past 10 years! Looking forward to trying 1Password 7.

@magnuson yup, and it’s way more usable for me than Google Authenticator or Authy because you can use it on your Mac as well (gets filled automatically too).
I’ve been trying iOS’ new Keychain features in hopes that it would be faster - but 1Password keeps innovating and it’s seriously the top dog in this game. Never regretted switching from Dashlane!
@nscmnto Ah yes, the OS-level integration Keychain can accomplish is pretty cool. Having my passwords behind a master password, not just my device passcode, and encrypted with standards I'm informed about, is why I prefer a password manager (and I mean yes, I work at 1Password so that too 😉).

@androidlove but 1Password (AFAIK) has never been hacked, whereas LastPass has.
@androidlove @penderworth I've been asking for 5 years so ill just ask again. Can we get Linux support?!?! Even the most basic linux app would do. Primarily I am a mac user, but I have Linux computers I need to use occasionally for certain work things, and not having any access to my intentionally complicated passwords is a pain in the butt.
Does version 7 have iOS native attachments available? In other words can I add and an remove photos / docs attachments from the iOS versions?
@stevenlaw Hi Steven. With a 1Password.com account you can indeed add photos to your items. We're also working on some improvements to expand this beyond just photos.
@mrrooni thanks Michael for the response but as @thejeremycarson pointed out, adding photos is via desktop. Has that changed in version 7?
@thejeremycarson @stevenlaw Indeed, as Michael mentioned you can add photos from an iOS device if you have a 1Password account. When editing an item, tap Add A File and choose an image from your photo library. Definitely not the most affordable solution to this problem, but I feel like I'm paying for security and reliability.
Pros:Has been my go-to for years; brilliantly executed tool.
Cons:Recently, some issues with the browser widget (Chrome specifically)

Better than the rest - Including a certain rip-off by unscrupulous devs.
Pros:Feature filled. Cheap given how great it is and how seamless it works.
Cons:There are tiny bugs once in a while, and iOS limits it from doing cool stuff like a 1Password keyboard that you can use ANYWHERE
Love 1password. Life-changing app, really. No complaints. Does what it’s supposed to do.
Maybe add features to lock/hide files and folders?
Pros:Easy to use, great features, integrates well with desktop and mobile browsers
Cons:Can't think of anything offhand
I've used this app for years, keeps getting better and better. My only wish is that it would be great if it could actually lock/unlock files and folders on a computer or server.
@todd_zaroban Mmm that would be pretty sweet, I agree! Once upon a time, we had an app called Knox, which we sold alongside 1Password. It created encrypted disk images, much like you can do from Disk Utility in macOS. To keep focus on 1Password, we suspended development of Knox indefinitely. I agree it'd be really nice to roll it into 1Password somehow.
For now, you can add smaller files (below 50MB works best) to 1Password directly and store them alongside your passwords. And for larger jobs, encrypted disk images are your friend. 🙂

The security model is "we're selling you a vault; you set the combo; we can't open it." (Very Apple-esque.) I sync to 2 IOs devices, 2 Macs and 1 Android tablet via Dropbox. (Agile offers their own sync, with their new subscription model.) Fingerprint unlock on iPhone is fantastic - 1Password is top-right on home screen. Perhaps the best measure - I can't recall a single technical problem with 1P, ever. Rock-solid code.
Pros:Security model. Sync options. Company attitude.
Cons:none IMHO
