Our mission at 2FAS is to make the internet a safer and more secure place for everyone. Two-factor authentication plays a critical role in how people access their online accounts and safeguard their information. However, today’s two-factor authenticators are not private, lack security features, and are difficult to use. 2FAS solves all of these problems. For the past four years, we have written thousands of lines of code to provide you and millions of users worldwide the most secure, private, and free 2FAS mobile application with many extensions. We’re incredibly proud that our work has resulted in a safe, simple, and beautifully designed 2FA solution with no ads or tracking. And our work is only just getting started. We want to continue to deliver on our mission and expand the 2FAS ecosystem with respect to our core values: privacy, security, and simplicity. And we'd like to do it together with you! That's why we decided to launch our product here on ProductHunt. Furthermore, we are proud of our incredible community on Discord with over 1,600 users that continues to grow every day. We value our users' suggestions which drives us to deliver even better features. We've already delivered the following feature requests: - Cloud synchronization - Browser extension - Widgets - Import/Export (*also from the external apps) And we're working hard on the following: - Make 2FAS an open-source project - Add a multi-language support - Add a wearable devices support - B2B services (API integration for smooth 2FA process) and many more! Your support will help us deliver on our current roadmap and future innovations to deliver on our mission to make the internet a safer place for everyone. #security4all We hope that you find our app helpful and easy to use! If you have any questions or inquiries, please reach out to us! Best, Mark with the 2FAS Team

Really great app with the perfect UX. ;)

I love this application. I came to it after the inexplicable mistreatment of Google Authenticator users and its disconcerting lags. But 2FAS is responsive, fast and easy to use, with cloud backups, icon selection and account grouping. For me it has it all.

It’s a real shame the iPhone app requires iOS 14 or higher. You’re missing out on a huge chunk of users. Still, congratulations on the launch!

@umberto_abbatantuono Thank you very much for you comment! As we are a security app we need to support live and security updated OS versions. iOS 13 sadly is not supported anymore. Additionally stats shows that less than 1% Apple users are using iOS 13 (tbh, taking in consideration safety issues, it should be 0% ;-) ). Have a great day ✌️

@aogonowski supporting new security updates doesn’t imply cutting out support for older versions. In fact, I’m still using Authy which is the leading 2FA app for both iOS and Android. Never had such an issue. I can only imagine how frustrating it would be not being able to update the device’s OS to the latest version and losing access to all of the 2FA codes. It’s clear you don’t care about the 1%, which is the reason why I’m never going to be using your app. Developers should be focused on compatibility and accessibility just as much as they are obsessed about security. Have a great day!

@umberto_abbatantuono As we are a free app, developed by people who truly care about user's security, we'd really like Apple or Google to support older OS versions. However, as you surely understand it's impossible. The other thing is - if you as a user want to be safe online, you should at least keep your devices updated. That's why we've decided not to support older OS versions without producer's security updates. And so, as Apple and Google we are more focused on those 99%+ online users. As for other 2FA apps - of course you can use any app you like, but please keep in mind that when app requires your personal data, like a phone number, that's not exactly a private app. Take care ✌️
