@bentossell It's a short book and a quick read as it's about an emerging specification. What I wanted to do was distill down the work I've been doing on the spec for the last 3 years into the main takeaway points. So once this lands properly in browsers people know what it is and the basics of how it works. So it was pretty quick to write as it was based on the things I've been exploring in my own research - mostly the challenge was to pick good examples that explain a complex spec well, but don't completely overwhelm someone coming to it fresh.
