Congrats on the launch! I'm curious to know what the onboarding process is like for buyers. I imagine using a product like this would be no problem for companies, procurement teams, etc in tech-heavy industries. Are you thinking yet about how to make it easy for others - say those in healthcare and construction where onboarding for their own product may already be a challenge?

👋 Hey Hunters - can't believe the day has finally come to be sharing Accord with the world! My cofounder / brother Ryan and I first became obsessed with sales and had an inkling that something like Accord should exist while learning the trade at Stripe and Google Cloud. I had an incredible experience scaling Stripe’s sales org from a couple of us trying to figure out the sales-led motion to a 450-person global machine. It was a hard place to leave but after years of Ryan and I sharing the same frustrations about the realities of B2B sales and armed with an idea of how to solve it for both buyers & sellers... well here we are! 🤠 The 3 main challenges that led us to take the leap and build Accord: 🙊 Customers don’t want to talk to sales reps One of the wildest learnings so far is that 95% of the buying process is NOT spent with a seller. This leaves companies only 5% of the entire process to engage. This is compounded by the major lack of focus on actually partnering with customers to solve their problems. Sellers aren’t taking into account the needs of modern buyers or how they want to purchase (transparently & collaboratively). 😭 It’s worse to be a buyer Most surprising was what we learned when we started talking to buyers while figuring out how we were going to solve the first two issues: It’s worse to be a buyer. Today, the average B2B sale involves 14+ people, and that’s only on the buyers’ side. This epiphany is really what forced us to take the leap and solidify what Accord needed to be and solve for. ♻️ Lack of repeatable systems Even if you had the above all figured out, there’s no system to reinforce this collaborative, buyer-first approach. Nothing exists to structure the sales like you have with engineering (Github), design (Figma), product (Jira). No matter how many sales philosophies or tools you try, you’re never going to see a real transformation in sales until you bring the buyer into the process. This product is truly incredible. Anyone in sales knows the organization of the process is easily the worst part. Anyone who runs a sales team knows that the inconsistency from rep to rep in said process makes things almost impossible to manage. Accord solves all of those problems, while most importantly, delighting the end customer by selling and implementing collaboratively vs. the traditional "back and forth" model. Teams of 5, 500 or 50000 all will find incredible value and ROI by using Accord.

Accord is the most precious product for any serious seller. It makes managing the entire sales process much more consistent, fair, and orderly. The mutual evaluation process is often disconnected and inconsistent among reps - how they can keep track of everything? I always encounter these conversations during rep meetings. But with Accord, it's easy. Each rep gets an overview of everything each other rep is doing, and they all get a pulse on what's happening in their own arena, so nothing gets overlooked or forgotten.

🌊 Hi Hunters, what an amazing journey to get to this point. Admittedly, having been in tech for over 15+ years, I had an outdated view of how modern sales teams should and need to operate. After meeting Ross and Ryan, I was immediately struck by just how different they approach the discipline of sales. 🧑‍💻 I’ve personally loved building Accord. I believe this tool completely supports the future of selling. I have always hated transactional selling, but I have always loved finding solutions to peoples problems. Accord has felt like a tool that was designed just for me, everything that I have ever wanted from a sales platform is there. On top of that, it is backed by a ridiculously incredible team. This company is going to be a rocketship (already is) and I have 0 doubt that it will be a significant game changer for the sales industry.
