With adacraft you can create interactive apps, animations, generative art, quizzes, explorable explanations, music, games, etc. Just like with Scratch.
adacraft extends Scratch with new tools to open new creative possibilities.
Hey all,
I am Nicolas, from the adacraft solo-team (!). I have built adacraft to provide creative tools for citizen programmers. I.e non-expert people that enjoy or need programming every now and then. For now, my focus is on reusing Scratch from MIT and making it usable and useful to a much broader audience (Scratch targets kids with educational purpose).
For that I modified Scratch a bit and add new extensions:
• AI extension that provides new blocks for image recognition (is this a cat or a dog?)
• AI extension for face and pose recognition from the camera (so you can create programs that add visuals around your face...)
• Some extension for inter-project communication (read multi-user experiences).
That's all for now. But of course, I will add new extensions as soon as I can (mainly based on existing JavaScript libraries)! Do you need a new extension? Do you have a fun idea? Please tell me!
With adacraft, you can also save your projects online, view others' ones, and remix them.
It is still in beta so I'd love to get some feedback and I'm happy to answer any questions!
I have created an example for a new kind of adacraft creation: tools for your personal time management:
A timer for the Podomoro Technique! 🍅 ⏱️
