As online advertising masters, we can never get enough of the bread and butter of PPC: keywords. If you want to know what’s popular on Google, they’ll point you in the right direction. As trends change, so do the most popular keywords. But which ones were most popular across the entire year?
We’ve collected all the data from the most popular events of 2019 and put them head to head. Now it’s up to you to decide which you think triumphs in each battle.

Each level takes on a theme: whether it’s celebrity news, world events, superheroes, politics, technology or something else, you’ll soon find yourself remembering events from what feels like the distant past...
How the game works
You get 5 lives. There are 5 levels.
You’ll be shown two keywords and you just tap which you think was more popular. It’s the ultimate battle of the keywords. Then, at the end of each level (providing you get there) we’ll show you which order they all came in.
And that’s about it – we’ve tried to keep things simple as we realise no one’s got time for long-winded instructions come month number 12.
Now all you have to decide is which tactic you’re going for: skill or pure luck?
