Aether 2 — A P2P network of ephemeral, privacy-sensitive communities

Aether is a collection of communities for nerds outside the Web. It's ephemeral—data is gone eventually—and democratic, the people elect or impeach.

Hey folks! 🙂 Aether is a work of mine that I've been working on full time since March 2018. It gives you communities similar to Reddit, but hopefully in a way that's a little more 21st century: privacy-sensitive 👀, ephemeral 👻, democratic 📨 and transparent 🔮 ❓This is a fairly basic introduction: https://getaether.net/docs/ ❓How is it different from existing stuff like [ Reddit / Twitter / Mastodon / ... ]? Here's a comparison with a few: https://getaether.net/docs/how_i... 😔 The main con I know of is that it's a desktop app, and there are no mobile apps yet, due to its P2P nature. This is something in the works. Happy to answer questions if any. Cheers!
