Hi Everyone! I spent the past year creating a new platform that showcases Affinity-Serif products through expert screencasts. Today, I'm excited to announce its launch! πŸš€ Affinicasts features tutorials and courses covering Affinity Designer, Photo (and Publisher once it's released). New content will be added weekly! I love these applications and felt there wasn't enough resources and spotlight around them like other design tools today. What better way to commemorate my passion than to build a new platform around it! I invite you to check it out and let me know any feedback you may have. Also be sure to check out the short reel: https://youtu.be/-h2d9G3wX28

Looks like it will be a great resource. The price is very reasonable too. Good work.

@felix_finn Thanks for checking it out!

While it is nice to see people redo information in a clean format it is also a waste of money to buy it. You can get this data in other places for free.

Pros:

Simple interface

Cons:

This information is available free eleswhere

Hey Steve, You are partially correct, some content is found elsewhere, though we offer original content as well. Since we've only just begun, Affinicasts will be starting with the basics and later evolving into more in-depth and skilled tutorials and courses. A future aspect of the site will focus on learning modern design theory, fundamentals, graphic design history, and some tips and tricks to have in your arsenal as a modern day designer. Those looking to break in to the design world and learn without breaking the bank, say at a college or paid program, is who we plan to help with the platform. On top of that, we plan to continuously add more content each and every week. The initial launch is to spread word of the platform and also the message that so much more is to come.

Great looking site! I actually didn't even know about Affinity as an option to Photoshop. Now I'm looking at that also.

@josh_frazier It's a fantastic alternative! Coming from Photoshop (where I got my start myself), Affinity Photo makes the switch a breeze. A lot of features are all too similar. Even the key-commands are there. The coolest thing you might notice when trying it out is the real-time updates on blend modes, typography, and filters. Super cool!
