@ohansemmanuel Congrats on the launch, Emmanuel! 🎉 The idea of automating keywords and channel tracking with actionable insights is such a game-changer—this feature really stood out to me.
Well, I do have a question: Should we manually mark the keywords or channel, or does Remention scan all supported social media channels and provide recommendations? Also, how do you handle potential fraudulent comments or responses that might risk getting flagged by social media platforms?

@tonyabracadabra at its core when you set up a project, you let us know what "keywords" to monitor for. This is how we track across social channels.
I have to add as well that we've got neural matching in the works i.e., if your keyword is "email marketing", the AI can interpret a post that talks about "how I leveraged marketing in my emails" to mean similar i.e., neural search.
Regarding backlinks, the Remention suggested drafts/replies do not include links by default.
However, you have total control and can always edit the suggested replies. Our goal wasn't particularly SEO, but that's possible (if the platform supports backlinks and you include them in the suggested replies)

@ohansemmanuel yea I think that makes sense! brand awareness is also a super important goal for many marketing teams though its direct impact might not as immediate as SEO, but in the long term it will definitely pay off

Remention AI will suggest some keywords based on your website information, but yes, you do have to tell us what to track.
Regarding social media channels, we all channels we support right now: Linkedin, Reddit, X, Threads, Facebook and Bluesky!

Remention is a Human-in-the-loop platform precisely for these reasons. We don't spam or deploy bots to simply spam the internet. That's not the kind of product we're proud of.
So with Remention, you'll always have control over what's posted.

@tonyabracadabra @ohansemmanuel you might want to consider plugging-in something like kwrds.ai or ahrefs API, to snatch a couple more keyword suggestions on terms to look out for. Just an idea, as I believe many people might still be unsure on what keywords they should be tracking
Does it take into account whether other people are "allowed to promote" themselves in those places?
Because let's say that there is a convo on Reddit... but reddit communities (or subreddits) are quite restrictive.

Particularly for Reddit. So no external links and includes the product when it makes the most sense.

Tried it. 1 question: Where do I generate the replies: I see the graph of generated replies. But I don't understand how to make them? Small UX bug: If I type an URL in the onboarding that is wrong. There is no way to edit it. I just can't complete onboarding, I have to start onboarding again.
@sentry_co Hi André, to generate replies, simply click on any of the mentions. Go to the "mentions" page.
Regarding the UX bug: you're right. We're gonna add an edit project settings page later tonight. We postponed that until post launch.
Check back tomorrow and it'd be done! In the settings page.

Interesting take, I like the human-in-the-loop approach. Although AI replies might be tempting and going full auto, this seems like a lot better alternative.
I just wish you had a free plan for makers that don't have so many mentions monthly, just to get started 😄
@ralic Thank you! We share the same perspective regarding making sure we were a human-in-the-loop solution.
Regarding a long term free plan, being a small team we thought it'd be difficult to support this long term. Our underlying infrastructure isn't cheap.
However, this is top of mind, and we'll look into ways to potentially support a free plan further down the line.
What would such a free plan look like to you?
Access to a single social media channel? Access to all?

When someone is small getting info whenever someone mentions them can be super valuable.
If you're only talking about infrastructure costs, make sure to checkout Microsoft for Startups and AWS startup programs. There's a ton of free infrastructure for grabs 😄
But I'm really not sure if this is the case with you guys and take everything with the grain of salt, I guess you might have API costs for different social networks as well, so that can add up pretty quickly, and in that case I agree 1000% you should continue with the current plan, or think about BYOK mechanism (everyone uses their own free tier)
oh this is amazing!!! I noticed that in the freemium, you can copy and paste your reply. I have 2 questions:
1. Are you planning to bring on the ability to auto-generate and reply without any human intervention?
2. How many responses/comments can be generated per day?

1. We don't feel comfortable without a human in the loop platform. However, we may consider having this as an option a user can toggle.
However, we think it's relevant to not let AI simply run your private / brand social account :) We also will NOT deploy bots to generate replies.
2. There's no limit to responses for now!

to be sure i understand. your tool post replied automaticlly ? or should i copy your suggest reply and paste it ? and how many replies or mention you catch foe every plan ?
@esadik Yes, you need to copy or edit the suggested reply.
Unlike some platforms, we believe this manual "human-in-the-loop" format is the best of both worlds (AI and human)
You can always regenerate the suggested reply or edit it as you wish.
Congrats on the launch @ohansemmanuel. Let's say my product is an English learning solution and I want to track conversations around keywords like "Spoken English" or "Communication Skills", and Remention throws up tens of social conversations across the platforms it tracks. Wouldn't an 'AUTO-SUGGEST' feature highlighting say the top 5 conversations basis the potential impact / ROI of the response generated be good? Do mull over it and see.
Your product will be lapped up by digital marketers. In the future, responses in the form of generated images/ videos would also make it great.
Tried it out, and it's very promising. Fast onboarding, clean dashboard, clear flow. I'll monitor next few days to see incoming mentions, but this looks like an excellent marketing tool.
I particularly love the fact that no extension is needed. Connecting your socials accounts either. And this is huge, to me.
Suggested replies are more than decent and often don't require any editing or minor at worst.
One suggestion: add bio description of poster and followers data where applicable, on mouseover.

@rupgo thanks! Regarding Reddit: do not sell haha. Our AI makes sure of this, but you always have full autonomy to edit / update the suggested draft. However, we strongly recommend you do not simply sell your product on Reddit (or anywhere else for that matter). Join the conversation! Remention helps with that :)
@ohansemmanuel , you absolutely nailed it! Remention is truly an awesome product—got my upvote, and I’m definitely going to use it. A quick suggestion: it would be great if you could add an option to compare multiple hashtags for my product with different trigger points. This would help identify which hashtags perform best, so I can tailor my ads accordingly. Wishing you great success!
