AgreeTo โ€” Because scheduling is more complex than sending a link

Scheduling links work well in certain situations. But they fall short when a meeting is high-stakes, complex to set up, or is a socially nuanced dance. Share your availability in plain text and strike the right balance between efficiency and automation.

Hey Product Hunt ๐Ÿ‘‹ @Richard and @burak_gavas and I couldnโ€™t be more excited to launch AgreeTo today!! ๐ŸŽ‰ Just to be clear: We are not 3 grumpy, old men shouting at Scheduling Links ๐Ÿ˜„ We get that they are efficient and come in handy in different situations. But we also realized that there are many situations in which we donโ€™t like to use scheduling links. Thatโ€™s why we decided to build AgreeTo: A Chrome extension that allows you to easily share your availability from anywhere. Demo Video: https://youtu.be/PiIkINtclyo Our main features ๐Ÿ“† Connect all of your calendars in a single place ๐Ÿ‘ฅ See when your colleagues are available ๐Ÿ•” Select multiple time zones ๐ŸŒŽ Translate your availability into different languages โŽ Create holds in your calendar What we are currently building โœ๏ธ Formatting configurator to adjust the snippet to your taste ๐Ÿ“š Template Manager ๐Ÿ“ข AgreeTo for Outlook (please get in touch should you be interested ๐Ÿ“ฅ) Special Discount for PH community ๐Ÿšจ Only Today: Use our discount code PH50 and get 50% off the yearly plan๐Ÿšจ What features are you currently missing? What do you like? We would love to hear your feedback! ๐Ÿ™ Cheers โœŒ๏ธ Philipp, Richard, and Burak

@justin_govy just created a Demo: https://youtu.be/PiIkINtclyo Let me know what you think :)
Justin Johnson
@phil_schwengel Demo helps a lot. Brings it home for me. One more question. Is it possible for the recipient to then book one of those times? This def solves the up front back and forth but it would save me SO much time if the recipient could then click one of those times and it automatically sets up the invite. You may have already thought about this but wanted to share some additional user feedback!!
Philipp Schwengel
@justin_govy that's definitely something we consider! If you don't mind, I would share a demo with you to get your feedback :)
Arron Taylor
@phil_schwengel awesome idea!! Iโ€™ve known there was a better way to send calendar scheduling links and this is that way!
Angela Dickinson
@richard @burak_gavas @phil_schwengel congrats on the launch. Any chance the discount is still available? :)
Iuliia Shnai
Amazing job you guys doing! @richardpoelderl Just copied some time to book my meetings! Fast and easy! Are you planning to have also the app separately?
Richard Poelderl
@iuliia_shnai Thanks, Iuliia. We're not planning to have a separate app. We like to manage our booking slots right inside Google Calendar instead of in a separate app. If you add AgreeTo to your Google Workspace subscription you get all the scheduling niceties as an add on. :)
Justin Johnson
Really smart way to handle scheduling. I tend to not like just sending a scheduling link because it puts the work on the other person. When it's someone who may be a big client or investor, that matters. Once you sync calendars, do you just copy/paste the snippet into an email or does it automatically send an email to the recipient? Is there a demo video? Congrats on the launch!!
Philipp Schwengel
@justin_govy Great question! I just created a demo for you in this second: https://youtu.be/PiIkINtclyo Looking forward to year feedback :)
Lara Tankal
Congratulations with the launch! Can you give more information on which calenders AgreeTo works in sync with? I'd love to try the product.
Philipp Schwengel
@lara_tankal Thank you! Currently, you can connect Google and Microsoft calendars in a single place. If you need other integrations, please let us know! :)
Jan Beisheim
Congrats on the launch! I love the updated Chrome version. Glad to see it live. When do you plan to drop the Outlook integration?
Richard Poelderl
@jan_beisheim Hi Jan, we're currently going through Microsoft's review process for the Outlook Add-In. There are some legacy Internet Explorer quirks we have to iron out before we can publish it. We will let you know once we're through.
Mayank Jain
@phil_schwengel, very nice creative :). There are a lot of scheduling tools, but AgreeTo seems very interesting to test out. Congratulations on the launch.
Philipp Schwengel
@mjain_mayank Thank you :) If there's anything that comes to your mind, please let us know!
Cem Bulut
Great extension for scheduling meetings efficiently especially when there are multiple & busy stakeholders! Congratulations on the launch team ๐Ÿš€
Richard Poelderl
@cem_bulut Thanks Cem. Glad that you like it. :)
Philipp Schwengel
@cem_bulut Thank you!!! Hope you will enjoy it
Paxshal
Awesome tool Philipp. Very efficient and easy way of scheduling IMO. I always face below issues while scheduling any meeting: - Timezone (I have to do conversions manually and confirm it online once) - my availability (need to check events from my multiple calendars) - Type dates, times manually in my email every time You have solved it all with this cool software. Curious to give it a try! Congratulations to you and team!
Richard Poelderl
@pax93fcb glad to hear that! I particularly suck at timezone conversions. ๐Ÿ˜‚
Denislav Jeliazkov
I am tired of "Here is my calendar, put some time" and Richard and the team are doing something I am quite intrigued by! Looking forward to see how they take the product forward, and to be a power user of it!
Richard Poelderl
@denislav_jeliazkov Exactly why we built this. Will keep you in the loop.
Val Sopi
@denislav_jeliazkov @richardpoelderl Congrats, Richard! Looks great so far. Seeing when others are available before we send our calendar link would be a game changer.
Robin Singhvi
This is a fantastic product and @phil_schwengel and his team are super talented and building a ๐Ÿš€ ! Godspeed to you folks!
Philipp Schwengel
@robinsinghvi Thank you so much for the feedback and warm words!! All the best ๐Ÿ™Œ
Taly Matiteyahu
omg yes! I want to include meeting options with date/time/timezone info in emails all the time and it's such a hassle! is there a free tier? the "pricing" link on the website just scrolls back up to the top of the web page, which doesn't have pricing info, so I'm a bit unclear ๐Ÿฅฒ
Richard Poelderl
@taleesita Hi Taly! Yes, there is a free tier. When you sign up, you'll get a 7 day free trial but you'll be able to keep using the free plan forever. :) However, if you plan to use the tool 3+ times per week, then I strongly recommend subscribing to the yearly pro plan as you'll get it for only $24 dollars on our exclusive ProductHunt promotion today -- the code is PH50 (expires at midnight PST, so in ~10h). Feel free to let me know if you'd like some tips to get set up (richard at agreeto.app)
Ash
Appreciate the thoughtfulness with this product - I do prefer to default sharing availability like this and the AgreeTo team are taking on board a new take to schedule meetings. Congrats on the launch!
Richard Poelderl
@modernafflatus Thanks Ash! I'm glad you like it. ๐Ÿ™Œ
Abhishek Singh
Congratulations on the launch guys. This seems interesting. Would this be able to pick up free time on calendar automatically instead of having to drag and select available times?
Philipp Schwengel
@abhishek1846 That's a great question. We currently don't support it, but we could definitely build it. Could you explain to me a bit better what the use case would be or how you'd like it to work? E.g. "give me all available times between 8am-5pm for the next 3 working days?"
Abhishek Singh
@phil_schwengel Something like that. Generally what I've encountered is to look for 30-60 minute blocks on a certain day and then share it with someone. But yes searching for a certain time block on a number of days could be helpful as well
Jernej Samide
@phil_schwengel Interesting product. Currently we work with calendly but will definitely check this out. Congrats on the launch :)
Philipp Schwengel
@nuvo Let us know how you like it! The point is not to replace scheduling links in all situations, but to have a valid option every time you don't feel like sharing a link (or it simply doesn't work)
Axel Lavergne
Love this, always hated that scheduling link vibe. Congrats on the launch, looks like you're doing pretty well so far!! ๐Ÿš€
Philipp Schwengel
@axel_lavergne Thank you so much, Axel! Happy that our approach resonates with you ๐Ÿ™Œ
Fiona Chin
It seems really helpful๏ผ I will definitely give it a shot, and it's gonna be a game changer, btw, I love how you name this product, so unique.
Richard Poelderl
@fiona_qin1 Glad you like it, Fiona! Is there any way we can help you get set up?
Gaurav Goyal
Very interesting. A different take on scheduling meetings. @phil_schwengel
Richard Poelderl
@phil_schwengel @gauravgoyal_gg Hi Gaurav, how do you schedule with externals today?
Richard Poelderl
@phil_schwengel @gauravgoyal_gg Cool. If we want to add AgreeTo to the scheduling stack, I'm happy to help you get set up. :)
Uladzimir Yankovich
@phil_schwengel @gauravgoyal_gg @richardpoelderl Congrats on the launch, guys! That's a cool extension!
Philipp Schwengel
@gauravgoyal_gg @gabe_moronta Thanks a lot!! ๐Ÿ™Œ
Abramenko Egor
"Translate your availability into different languages" โ€“ it's very helpful for remote-first companies!
Richard Poelderl
@egorab yep! One of the reasons we built it. ๐Ÿ˜…
Shrikant Damani
The best way to manage a calendar is to have no calendar. But that's a pipe dream for most of us. In the meanwhile, I will always be a torchbearer for solutions like these that make our lives easier! Love the features and capabilities of this extension. Congratulations on the launch, guys! :)
Philipp Schwengel
@shrikant_damani Thank you! If there are more features you'd like to see, happy to hear that!
Pankti Shah
Interesting ๐Ÿ‘€ launch ๐Ÿš€This is a highly neglected topic which is very important kudos to the team for working on this product. Looking forward to using this.
Philipp Schwengel
@pankti_shah_910 Thank you very much, Pankti! Let us know what you think after you've gave it a try :)
