๐Ÿ‘‹ Hey everyone! Iโ€™m thrilled to bring "AI Detector by Content at Scale" to the Product Hunt community today. ๐Ÿš€ Our team has been working tirelessly to bring this innovative tool to market, and we couldn't be more excited about what it can do. ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ” Our AI detector uses cutting-edge artificial intelligence to detect patterns and forecast the most probable word choices that lead to a higher AI detection probability. Unlike most free AI detectors and classifiers, our proprietary content generator taps into multiple layers with three AI components, including NLP, semantic analysis algorithms, and SERP parsing capabilities. ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ” We've trained our AI detector on billions of pages of data to accurately predict the most probable word choices that lead to a higher AI detection probability. As AI-generated technology continues to advance, it's more important than ever to have a reliable way to detect ChatGPT or any other AI-generated content. That's where our AI detector comes in. ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ Our AI detector is designed to analyze and detect content generated by ChatGPT any AI text generator, making it one of the best AI classifiers on the market. With the rapid growth of AI-assisted content production, our AI writing tool helps marketers and agencies to generate long-form content, such as 2,500-word blogs in a matter of minutes, making the content creation process simple. We are committed to refining our AI detector to accurately score human versus robot-written content. We believe that the use of AI detectors will become commonplace as businesses, publishers, and educational resource entities strive to verify the human level of their content. We're excited to be at the forefront of this trend, and we can't wait to see what our users create with the AI Detector. Join us on this exciting journey as we push the boundaries of AI detection technology and usher in a new era of reliable content creation. We are also here to answer any questions you might have. Launching soon!
If you ever want to know if a blog post was written by ChatGPT, just see if it ends with a section that says "Conclusion" ๐Ÿ˜† All joking aside, this is very cool. You should get in touch with these people: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/... I know a lot of independent magazines/publishers are now being flooded with fake AI submissions that prevent them from doing their work efficiently. It's a problem that's only going to get worse.
Justin McGill
@matthew_ritchie Thank you for your comment and humor! We appreciate your support and understanding of the importance of AI detection technology

I'm thrilled to be a part of Content at Scale and EXCITED to see us break #1 today! ๐Ÿ”ฅ THANKS to everyone commenting, upvoting, and participating. You're a part of this. I wanted to share a little bit about why this brand/product matters so much to me personally... the story, if you will. When I found Content at Scale, I was at a crossroads where my 11-year full-time career in content marketing, what I do, what I teach, and what I myself was about to be permanently impacted by AI. It truly IS adapt or die, right now. For reference: AI is exploding into every industry; the AI market itself is projected to rocket from $387.45 billion in 2022 to $1,394.30 billion in 2029 at a CAGR of 20.1%. Weโ€™re talking 20% growth, in billions of dollars. ๐Ÿคฏ When I consider that content marketing itself is set to be worth $600 billion in 2024, and I see the AI market almost double that size (again, in billions!)โ€“I know that this growth will permanently affect what I do. But when I discovered this tool, at the time I was also the biggest skeptic of AI in writing authority-building content. As a writer that believes in the old-fashioned, hard-knocks craft of creating content so good, you โ€œbleed on your typewriterโ€ โ€“ I used to believe Hemingway himself would be horrified at the butchering of writing thatโ€™s happening in AI content. No single AI writing tool/brand focused on quality as a core component. Not even OpenAI/ChatGPT. What I was looking for was a standard of care that said... "We have to produce good content. We have to CARE about quality and integrity of content." Then, in January 2023, I finally found an AI content tool that DID adhere to this standard. That was Content at Scale, by @jus10mcgill, the creator of this specific tool, a free AI detector (and the AI tool itself, at Content at Scale). I integrated it into my team at Content Hacker, and it replaced hours of my writer's time, from researching the keywords to include in SEO blogs (ACCURATE keywords, which I double-checked by running them through Semrush and Ahrefs to verify low-competition status), to creating a linked table of contents, to doing the research to show you how to further make it better, and in short โ€“ in the end, it cut down about 7 hours of human writing from each piece of content. I saw usable, good 2,500-word blogs produced in minutes. It was also the first tool Iโ€™ve found that connected directly to Copyscape, the plagiarism tool I've always used to use in my writing agency to scan hundreds of articles every week so we stayed authentic and original. The team continues to actively working on it to make it better and better so that the core of the tool truly continues to focus on one thing: QUALITY content. It even has a WordPress plugin so you can import the whole thing straight to WordPress without leaving the tool. At a FRACTION of what you would pay a writer. It's life-changing, and I don't mean that lightly. So, to be here, and a part of this, is truly epic. P.S. Want to know how good our AI detector is? In this video, I investigated our AI Detector against some of the leading ones out there. (Keep in mind: AI detectors don't actually KNOW if it's written by AI/human, they're looking for robotic-sounding sentences and syntax). Catch that video here:
Cheers! ๐Ÿฅ‚

@julia_mccoy This whole comment seems like it was AI generated including the sloppy mistakes (parens, out of place commas, missing commas, misused en-dashes, opening a sentence with an ellipsis), changing style, and a generic influencer voice. If this is what you're selling, I don't think I want it.
Julia McCoy
@coreyward I wrote this around 6 a.m. with a nursing baby in my lap. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So, I'd say it didn't turn out so bad, even if it was fully human โ€“ which incidentally now results in WORSE content than a robot, if you think about the fact that writers are human, hungry, tired, distracted, have kids to interrupt them, etc./etc... and robots AREN'T. The truth is we have to join forces, rather than stand by and judge those that are launching real solutions to join said forces.
Justin McGill
@coreyward eh ok... that's fine. :)

Congrats on the launch! Flagging AI generated content will have great to avoid disingenuous use of AI. For example, my younger brother who still goes to school tells that his classmates are using chatgpt for take home exams and online quizzes. This is only one use case but there are plenty of them. Best of luck!
Shaur ul Asar
@mehdi_rifai Thank you for your support on our launch! We appreciate your support and are glad to hear that you see the value in our AI Detector tool. It's concerning to hear that some students may be using AI tools like ChatGPT to cheat on exams and quizzes. We hope that our AI Detector can help prevent such dishonest behavior and promote integrity in education and other fields.

Thank you to Content at Scale for not only creating one of the best AI tools, but also for teaching frameworks (such as C.R.A.F.T.) that'll assist everyone in the content marketing industry in adapting to AI. I focus on topical + keyword strategy with my consulting clients, but I recently started my own blog, so I get to use Content at Scale a lot! I simply love it. Without the training videos you provide, transitioning to being an AIO writer will be much more difficult. I can't wait to see everything your team will accomplish!
Mutlu Sakar
Congrats, this was a need.
Justin McGill
@mutlusakar Thank you. Yeah it's truly become a need now.
Justin McGill
@mutlusakar Thank you. Yeah, that's why we are here.

Now people will generate content and check it without reading :) It'll be fun. I guess your team has to work seriously to improve this app. But beginning is good. Good luck )
Ideias Frescas
Congratulations on the idea. Hopefully it will be useful soon for teachers etc... One note: I went to do a test with a text generated by chatgpt and said that it was certainly 100% human when in reality it was chatgpt that created it.
Justin McGill
@ideiasfresccas This can definitely happen depending on what it is. In fact, that's ok... that means the content does not sound robotic or that it was AI written. :) Ultimately, that is what it is grading.
Zain Sheikh
Congratulations on the launch of your AI Detector! It sounds like a great tool to help ensure accurate and human-optimized content. Excited to see the results!

Congratulations on the launch ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. Out of curiosity, I would like to know why should I find out whether the content is AI generated or Human! Unless it is an high school project and not giving out some wrong information. Can you please help me understand how it will benefit me?
Justin McGill
@snipperbytes Certainly used by students (and education systems alike), but the primary use case is for bloggers (and people paying them) to check for AI content. Additionally, you run the risk of your content not ranking as highly if it's detected as AI content. Human writers use it to also identify where there content might sound robotic so they can improve their own writing as well.
Eddie Forson
Congrats on the launch Justin and team! With generative AI being the rage in so many areas, it was inevitable for more AI content detectors like your company to appear and bring some balance into this new world. What sets you apart from OpenAIโ€™s detector for instance? Also whatโ€™s the most common use case you currently see for your product?
Justin McGill
@ed_forson Thank you for your congratulations and your questions! We focus on providing a comprehensive and user-friendly tool for detecting AI-generated content, with a simple score to indicate likelihood. The most common use case is content moderation and verification, but our technology has broad applications.
Eddie Forson
@jus10mcgill thanks for answering. UX is so important and in many cases it can be a differentiator, so I'm glad you mention it :). I've just added your tool to my AI Collection on PH. Will make sure to check it out in the future. All the best!

This seems to be better at analyzing content for clichรฉs, common idioms, and following common patterns more than it detects whether it was authored by AI. I pasted in things that tend to follow patterns and stick to tradition, like wedding vows, and it the content detector was pretty convinced they were AI authored (33% human score). Meanwhile, I pasted in some wedding vows I got from Chat-GPT (as a joke, thank god) and it scored them as very likely human (88% human score). To be fair, GPTZero also did a fairly poor job on these samples. Perhaps detecting the author is a matter of too-much-noise, not-enough-signal and we'll never be able to reliably determine who wrote what. Assuming the content isn't boring and generic, how it came to be seems pretty irrelevant, so perhaps this tool does better to work how it does now anyways!
Justin McGill
@coreyward what you finished with is exactly it. This serves as a roadmap to show how robotic sounding your content is. It can be a way for human writers to improve their content to be less "robotic" at the end of the day. :)
