Bookmarked! You guys should add a section for "eSIM supported phones" currently there's no good listing even on google, would drive easily additional traffic when properly executed

Thanks @juhslk! Working on our SEO pages 😉

Tried this product multiple times during trips. Super smooth experience and physical sim cards now feel so obsolete. Game changer!
Niki Torres
Yay @rayevk ! Exactly what we hope the experience to be.
Neil
I've used these esims multiple times going from Canada to the US and the entire experience has been flawless. Highly recommended.
Niki Torres
@neilio thanks for this! keeps our team going.

I've been through "finding a local sim card" hassle multiple times so far! I don't even want to mention the legal problems when you try to terminate the agreement (like I ended up paying additional fees although I was quite careful about the dates). This looks like an ultimate solution to all those issues! Great product! Keep up with the good work!
Kate Tan
Thanks for the support @pinar! Let us know if you've any feedback after testing it ;)
Dun
There is gotta be another way to do this without scanning a code incase I only have one screen.
Niki Torres
Hey @huangdun we totally hear you on that. We're currently working to make that possible.
tela
This is so exciting! We hit 7 different countries this summer, and the one major pain point (besides Ryan Air) was data access. Great comment @juhslk - you beat me to it =)
Niki Torres
lol about Ryanair 😄@tela if you have an eSIM device (currently the iPhone 11, iPhone XS, iPhone XR and Pixel 4) happy to get you started on an eSIM with us. Let me know? :)
Niki Torres
@tela haha we hear the same thing from others who are keen to upgrade after learning about the eSIM. I sure had to! hehehe. well, if you ever upgrade, do check us out.
Aleksandr Beshkenadze
Really like it. Easy to use and fast setup.

@beshkenadze super to hear you had a good experience with us. yay!
@marty

Niki Torres

Alexandre Giess
I have been pretty happy using GigSky. why is this service better?
Kate Tan
@alexgiess Hey Alexandre, thanks for the heads up! Great to hear that you're doing great with GigSky. Here at Airalo, we're targeting to be an aggregator of eSIMs on our website so that our users can pick and choose how much data they need, for how many days and how much they're willing to pay for it. We also cover 160+ countries, with both local and regional eSIMs. It'd be great if you could compare our pricing to GigSky, and if you could let us know how the experience with Airalo is, that'd be lovely. Thank you!

Hey ProductHunt! As travellers ourselves, we’ve faced the painful situations of not finding Wi-Fi, losing the SIM card you’ve carefully taped to the back of your phone, and the horror of coming home to an unexpected roaming bill. We believe that in today’s modern world, connectivity and freedom should be accessible to all. That's why we want to share Airalo. - Airalo is here to take away the pain and stress of researching and seeking out the best roaming deal. - Airalo is the world’s first eSIM store for travellers to access over 100 eSIMs at the most affordable, local rates from around the world. - You’ll never have to carry multiple SIM cards or change your number again, no matter where you are in the world. - When using an eSIM you do not need a physical SIM card. - On an eSIM compatible device, subscribers can start connecting by simply scanning a QR Code, or manually enter the details provided in the eSIM confirmation from Airalo. We'd love to get your thoughts and feedback, and are happy to answer any questions you might have!
Max Kushnir
It works!
Niki Torres
@max_kushnir1 awesome! 🙌
Altryne
Need to travel to Israel tomorrow, and didn't really have a way to have data with Visible. Found this, joined, now I have a pending esim on my phone! Hopefully tomorrow it works when I land! 🙏 Reg. and QR were super easy to set up
Kate Tan
@altryne Hey Alex, that sounds great! Be sure to turn it on only when you land, and turn your "Mobile Data" to the eSIM! Let us know how it goes, and safe travels.
Niki Torres
@altryne exciting! Let us know how the service is in Israel. Safe travels!
Altryne
@katetan I just got the news that I'm going to be delayed 9 hours in Germany! sad! but, with airalo, I found 2.5$ for 7 days for 1gb! So I immediately bought that, and now I will have connection in Germany! This service is a game changer for me! 🙌🙌🙌
Altryne
@katetan Worked like a boss, in all locations. I have advocated for this product in several facebook groups and on twitter, and this is my goto now when I travel. Please don't go away 🤭!
Stamatis Xypolias
Great idea, really eager to try it, i had no idea there was such a service in my country Greece!
Kate Tan
@stamatis_xypolias Glad to be of service, do try it out and let us know how it goes! We have a ton of locals using it as they've given us feedback that data via Airalo is cheaper than telcos!
Edison Espinosa
Please have one for Colombia. Travel there frequently :D
Kate Tan
@edisonjoao6871 Thanks Edison! We hear you, and I'll be sending this through to our partnerships team. We're working on it.
Athan Didaskalou
Love this idea guys. How does it compare to SkyRoam?
Kate Tan
@ath Hey Athan, great question! With SkyRoam, you have to carry the device around wherever you go for Wi-Fi. With Airalo, the eSIM is installed in your phone, and you won't have to remove or change your physical SIM card, or carry an extra device around. Hope this helps clarify things.
Art. P.
This Product is great! 1. Register 2. Buy a prepaid eSIM 3. Scan QR You can even buy the eSIM before for trip starts. Once you have landed it will register immediately on the local Telco. Just disable roaming on your SIM and you are Ready to go! KPN NL outise EU package 100MB = 10 EUR India Airalo eSIM 3GB = 12 USD Almost 30x times more bang for bucks.
Niki Torres
thanks so much @artmaster!
Alexandre Giess
there is a typo in the signup flow (recieve). I would add support for  login and keychain as  pay. I can see the value of comparing plans like you will compare flights based on price and network speed access. And if it is about picking and choosing I would love to be able to select a number of days and what type of usage (just the basics, usual, heavier + personal hotspot) Does  give your app access to an iPhone network usage ? It could useful to get a baseline and help smooth the sign-up flow.
Niki Torres
@alexgiess we hear you! :) we're currently working on that apple entitlement, just waiting for approval. We are also looking at some comparison and/or figuring out how to help pick and choose data vs putting static data packs. Glad to know some folks would want something like this.
Sam McAllister
Can't wait to use this in SF next month. Amazing stuff.
Niki Torres
@sammcallister sweet! Let us know how it goes for you.
多达达
Great, I want to ask, how does the system recognize the conversion of the user's region? How is the gateway data interface handled?
Kate Tan
@new_user_27a2dc6e8a Hey D, welcome to Product Hunt! Are you asking about how you can switch across different regions when travelling? We have both regional and local eSIMs - if you want to travel between countries, you'll have to purchase different local eSIMs, and turn them on respectively when you arrive at your destination. If you've got a regional eSIM (let's say Europe), you can stay connected throughout the entire of Europe. Let me know if we can help in any other way!
