@uxdzen Totally agree. I've tested so many email clients since Mailbox was shut down by Dropbox, no client comes even close to the stability and snappiness that Airmail offers – Polymail, Nylas, and other new clients are a slow and clunky mess in comparison.
I've been using the 3.0 beta for a few months, and it's really nice to see how far it came since the initial versions. Also, really happy they removed delivery tracking in the in RC – too much of an invigilation for my taste.
I've used Airmail for a long time and I liked most of it, but search experience was quite bad. It was slow and results were not as smart. I've migrated to Inbox(via Boxy app) since then, search experience there is superb to other products(fast with suggestions & corrections). I see "Online Search" as one of the new features. How does it work?
@raimonnemar@nikitakorotaev@leonardo_4473 I was waiting for that improvement too! Just updated from the pervious version and yeah, search now seems to work a lot better! Thanks Airmail!

I've been using Airmail since it was launched and honestly, it's the best email client imo.
Although I don't see any update notification for the new version? Is this a paid upgrade?
Edit: It's a free update guys! Go get it :D
I have to say that my experience with Airmail has been bad. Mobile app wouldn't complete mail load. Host of bugs. To top it all off, they have heavy marketing to make it look like the best invention since the iphone. Go to Appstore. sort reviews by most recent and see if those issues are important to you. Really have to do research now to filter through the hype.
@jesse_kramer for sure the iPhone & iPad app didn't have the same maturity than the desktop app. But you have to give a shot at it, it's a really good app and this 3.0 upgrade is just awesome.
@leonardo_4473@davidduckie Hey! Are you really wotkinh on email tracking? if you guys manage to have that it will be, definetly and for the ages, the best mac email client
I've been actively searching for an email client that gave me a universal inbox for all my accounts. As a consultant, I regularly have 3+ client email addresses in addition to my main 3-- work, personal, business campaign funnel. I love the sleek design and ability to reach inbox zero. I already have a good email system, so those who dont actively use folders may not be as wowed as I was -- and still am. Looking forward to continued updates, bug fixes and app integrations.
Pros:
Beautiful, functional
Cons:
Can be buggy, can't currently sync to Slack, GDrive
I stopped using Airmail when it kept kicking out my Gmail credentials. The same problem happens with Apple's Mail app. It required me to periodically two-step authenticate my credentials. That was with Mav's and/or Yosemite. Anyone else have that problem? Is it fixed?
It's minor, but the one feature keeping me on Sparrow is a hot key to hide/show the whole app - so you can quickly press a key, see your email, and press it again to get back to what you were doing. Is there a way to do this with airmail? If so, I can't seem to find it..
My favorite (and in my opinion best) email client for Mac, and iOS too. I searched far and wide for a substitute after Mailbox shutdown. Finally settled on this and it has been great.
Now to find a substitute for Sunrise 😔
@mccauley_jay On Sunrise substitute need: me too! I was super bummed when Sunrise got shut down. I ended up surrendering to the cost of the newest Fantastical for all of my devices. So far it's been pretty good. Can't compare with Sunrise (especially considering how much more expensive it is).
Looks awesome! Is single-sign on available yet? (sign in with all your accounts once, and then you only need one login to bring them all back on a new computer or iOS)
I really loved the look and feel of Airmail fro quite a while. Unfortunately, I found a breaking bug that didn't allow me to send outgoing mail at all. The support team wasn't able to help me at all. Hopefully this update will fix such problems.
@leonardo_4473 I just saw a note that said read receipt was removed. Which is funny because I was going to write in about it not being in the Mac app for someone's when I opened recently. Am I missing something or is this feature really gone?
