I had a chance to read that book during the 'making'. A set of great practices written by a person that experienced remote work long before it became 'mainstream'.

Hello Product Hunt! We're so happy to share this book with you, written by Madhan Kanagavel - CEO of Codelathe, the company behind award-winning products such as FileCloud (3 time winner of Gartner Customer Choice Award) and AirSend. Madhan has grown and managed a team of over 50 employees and built a profitable remote first business long before Covid made remote work a necessity. He poured all of the wisdom and knowledge that he accumulated into this book on remote work best practices. You can click the link to read some key excerpts and download the book for free on our website or purchase it on Amazon: https://www.airsend.io/get-remot... Who is this book for? • If you are joining a remote team and want to get a head start • If you want to be more effective in a remote team • If you are struggling with having a good work-life balance while working remotely • If you run a remote team and want your team to function better • If you are a leader deciding whether to grow your team as fully remote Working remotely makes people productive in many ways, obviously by cutting down the commute, but also in many non-obvious ways like cutting down interruptions, ensuring a much better work-life balance and so on. With all that being said, Remote Work can reduce and remove the human and social aspects of work and dehumanize work to an extreme to the point that it can make it harder to sympathize when people fail. When you recognize that Remote Work is not a panacea and that you are just trading one set of problems for another, it helps you adjust faster to what is needed. Without that understanding, Remote Work can fail in spectacular ways. The single most important ingredient for Remote Work to succeed is trust. Members in a team have to trust each other. Leaders of teams have to trust their team members. Without trust, remote simply doesn’t work. This book contains key guidelines that will significantly impact the effectiveness of your remote working team. Read it here: https://www.airsend.io/get-remot... And please give it an upvote! :)

Practical, proven advice from someone who built a remote-first company long before most people even heard of the term.

Great book. For many people remote work sounds like a dream. But after working a huge part of the last 3 years remotely I know it's harder than it sounds. Especially important are parts about life/work separation and communication.
Paulo Silva
Starting to read it, but the first impressions are awesome!
