Hello Product Hunt, I'm a Product manager at Nitro. We are very excited to share the results of our long-term efforts and ideas from each team member. Some of Nitro’s features were a success, others were a flop, but as a result we’ve made a product that solves the problem for people who need short or ad hoc translations into other languages. We’ve gone through many iterations and thoroughly designed the UI so that a new Nitro client could immediately understand how it works, easily create an order, and pick up the finished translations. It’s possible to send a text to be translated into multiple languages at once (be it 10, 20 or 50 languages), track the status of orders, exchange comments with the translators, and export the finished translations into Google Sheets. If you want to change something, we offer free revisions. It’s also possible to order and pick up translations through the API. We are very proud of Nitro’s simple and clean UI (please let me know if you share our opinion - or not! 😊) and hope you’ll find it a convenient tool for your product translations. Do I get it right that I will see the price of translation right away? I don't have to wait for a quote, do I?

Hey, Nitro looks great, congrats! What do you mean by native speakers? Which language is native...the one they translate from? Or the one they translate into?

Congrats on launching! Sounds like a very useful product. I really like how fast and easy you can place your orders. I also think setting the tone of your text is a very smart addition. Definitely gonna give Nitro a shot once we're working on adding more languages to our website.

Fascinating!! I do lots of multilingual work, but for very short texts. I've tried to work with multiple translators on sites like Upwork or hiring my own, but the workflow has never been large enough to make it sustainable. I've always wished a service like this existed! I see you also offer proofreading, which is great for someone like me who is multilingual, but wants to be sure quick tweets and such don't have small errors slip through. Looking forward to testing this out!!

Kudos on a great accomplishment, Nitro team! I like the video in the product description, great job! What I do like about the product which I have been using constantly is that I can leave comments for the translator, and they can reply. So we can have a kind of a thread attached to a task. I like when translators request clarifications, ask questions, or suggest a few options to translate a specific line, for me to choose from. One more thing that stands out for me is the level of involment of a human translator into your text and what you meant to transmit. This is what machines can't do for a moment (let me know if I'm wrong). Good luck!

@margarita_s88 congratulations on your launch! I like the proofreading service. It would be great to show how the difference between how a tool like Grammarly would do the proofreading vs an actual human.

We tried more than 5 products for the localization needs of our projects however each and every one of them failed eventually. Nitro seems like the product that we have been looking for. So thank you and I wish you great luck!

Congrats on the launch! I don't have a use case yet, but just curious, does nitro work best with technical documentation as opposed to say literature/short stories?
