Crowdsourced Technical Docs by Almanac — Let anyone suggest changes to technical & community docs

While most public docs go stale without constant effort, Almanac lets you crowdsource improvements from your community. Readers can suggest changes on branches, which can be merged in, effectively turning your public pages into "living documentation."

Hey Product Hunt 👋, Almanac combines the power of Google Docs with Git-like version control and async workflows to cut down on Slack, emails, and meetings. We're excited to introduce public documentation—a new way to engage and support your community. When you publish your documentation with Almanac, you can allow anyone—developers, customers, or your broader community—to crowdsource improvements to your docs without needing an account. How it works: (1) Your community can click on 'Suggest Changes' to create a branch (a linked, private version) of any published doc. (2) They can freely edit it with track changes, leave comments, and then submit their branch to the doc owner. (3) You can then review submitted branches, make edits, and merge appropriate changes and additions back into the main, published document. Try it out on our demo documentation: https://hooli.almanac.io/develop.... This is a great solution for technical docs, help centers, or open-source project docs, but we could see it being used for crypto, Slack communities, or even crowd-writing a book! We're offering a three month FREE trial for anyone who signs up in the next 7 days, and mentions product hunt in our waitlist form: https://almanac.io/for/public-do.... We're looking forward to seeing what magic you create with your community! Taylor, Almanac Co-Founder
