Since we launched the North Star Playbook back in 2019, I’ve run hundreds of North Star workshops and spent many hours discussing the North Star framework with product people around the world at companies large and small. The framework in a nutshell: The North Star framework helps product, growth, and marketing teams get aligned around a constellation of metrics with the goal of sustainable, differentiated, product-led growth. 💫 The concept is simple, but clarifying your strategy and aligning your team is never easy! And that's where our revised and revamped playbook comes in. The playbook covers the fundamentals of the North Star framework (the “what” and “why”) with new tips from me, insights from other North Star Pros like Ted Clark and Abbie Kouzmanoff from Amplitude, and more real-life examples. We're releasing an updated version and would love for you to try it with your team and let us know what you think. And we're not done — in fact, we'll be sharing an all new how-to guide about running a successful North Star workshop on September 24. This new guide will capture all of our learnings from running so many workshops.
