AppLandr allows you to create landing pages for your mobile apps for free.Just enter your app's URL and all data is taken directly from the app store, so it's always up to date & 100% accurate.
Hello @merket, well AppLandr is free first of all!
Secondly it's design is much nicer (in my opinion anyway).
Thirdly I will be on hand, to modify or create anything that you guys suggest every day until it is right.
.. I really want to make AppLandr the best it can be for you guys :)
Co-founder of Appsites here. We were free for a long time. The issue with going free is that no one upgraded! Ever. It turns out there are quite of bit of developers who are fine with appname.appsites.com websites. So we had to add the trial in order to make a, you know, business out of this. :)
You have a right to your opinion on the design. But I strongly disagree. :)
We launched 10 months ago. Since then we had made almost daily pushes for bug fixes, design changes, complete redesign (4 times), over 25 new features, and numerous tweaks for customers.
Hello @merket. Thank you so much for your reply, and for the feedback.
I understand what your saying, however everyone has their own needs, so I strongly believe that even thought many users were happy with the subdomain, I bet lots of other users would love to use their own domain. The feedback received over the last few days has been invaluable, and that is one of the improvements suggested by users.
To be perfectly honest, I will build anything at least one user would like or has suggested. There is no doubt about that. The only variable here is time, and the amount it will take to implement that feature.
That being said, I usually have a very quick turnaround ;)

I think a lot of people are staring at 1 million apps and growing and figure there is going to be a lot of opportunity servicing those apps. This prompted me to visit appsites.com again and I was happy to see they've been expanding the themes.
The problem in this area is either you do next to nothing and get a landing page that looks pretty plain, or you put in the time to customize a html or wp theme and get exactly what you want. With the number of apps we've done, we need both, so I'm glad to see more competition coming along.
I tried AppLandr and maybe I missed it, but there didn't seem to be a way to edit the end result or manage the DNS. Both deal breakers as far as I'm concerned. Not a bad experience, but not something I can use without more control over end product.
Hello @sacbookreviewer, first of all I'd like to thank you, sincerely, for your feedback.
I totally agree, it's a dilemma. Whether you take something 'off the shelf' & customise it for a speedy delivery, or build it yourself from scratch & have complete control however it will take more time.
I am certainly keeping that in mind with AppLandr.
In the coming weeks, I'll be adding a couple of features that will allow you to use AppLandr 'off the shelf', while simultaneously filling all your needs. Editing your page source & and managing the DNS are certainly among those features ;)
Customisation will be as simple as turning on a few features and entering a few pieces of user data.
If you have any more ideas Ross, please feel free to contact me anytime. Also. I would suggest subscribing to AppLandr's newsletter so that you know when the new features go out :)
Hey @datarade, from what I can see, Button connects apps together to drive downloads and increase engagement! It was features on PH yesterday! Pretty cool @chrismaddern, I have to say!

Hey @datarade, I not a designer by trade.. but I've always had a huge interest in it. I'm currently subscribed to a few designer podcasts and I check out designer news quite frequently for tips.
I'm a developer at heart, ha my mom says I must have code in my veins as I'm always at it. :D
Ahh do you like the colour scheme? I actually spent a lot of time designing AppLandr. So many drawings in my notepad. Also if Dribble had a time usage badge that would be great, as I clocked some serious hours in recent times!
The colour scheme is based on what I find visually appealing myself, and what my family, friends, and early adopters have said looks nice.
However, this is early days for AppLandr and I'm open to suggestions from any and all users :)
Thanks for your interest Kumar!
@joey_tawadrous Pretty nice! One suggestion I'd have would be to support iPad apps - it currently automatically assumes iPhone portrait for the main image. Here's my iTunes URL if that helps: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/...
@epaga Hello John. Thank you so much for the suggestion. It is actually already of my list of things to do ;) But thank you all the same.
Please feel free to contact me anytime should you wish to see any features implemented.
Thanks a million @alekplay. But yeah, I know, it looks like it could do with some work! And I'm currently on it, won't be long before it looks beautiful all round :)
All the same, your feedback is greatly appreciated :)
Honestly, I was set to kind of shrug this off because there's several other sites that do the same thing. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my app's url. I wasn't expecting a nice layout and image animation. I'm not in love with the page's dominate color scheme but that's a small annoyance. The layout is very nice, there's social sharing icons on the left side, and there's a link at the bottom to my other apps.
Overall I'm very impressed. If I didn't already have a landing page on my own site I would seriously consider using this. Nice work!
Hello @fbara, thank you so much for your feedback. It is really great to hear you like AppLandr.
I have put a lot of time and effort into it's design, iterating through a lot of different layouts and colour schemes.
I mean, nowadays we do have multiple products offering the same functionality here and there, and being perfectly honest, it is often the design that sets them apart.
Are there any features I could add for you Frank? Perhaps if I removed the dominating colour scheme and replaced it with something else? ( I'd love to persuade you to use AppLandr for your own apps :D )
All the best,
Joey
@joey_tawadrous I have more info on my own site then I have on the app store so I'll stick with my site, for now π .
If you can allow us to change the color theme, or just a few key colors, that would be nice. If there was a way for the user to scroll or swipe through the app store images, at the top where you show 1 of the images, they could see more of the app right when they get to the page.
Hey @btaylr, thank you so much! What a nice thing to say :D
Please let me know of any suggestions/improvements to the existing site or of any additions you would like me to make :)
That is absolutely fantastic feedback @ryanmac, I will add a tutorial for this.
For the moment, you can visit your app on the app store, and then copy the URL from that app store webpage, and then copy that into the input box on AppLandr :)
Thank you for the valuable feedback!
