This is Bridgette, I’m one of the founders of Arrange.
I’m super excited to share a new product with you today: ArrangeGPT. If you’ve ever used ChatGPT to create a plan or schedule that you wished you could easily add to your calendar, this launch is for you 🎉
Using Arrange is pretty simple: type in a prompt and Arrange will generate a plan for your next long weekend (hello MDW!), road trip, workout routine, meal plan, or anything else – except instead of returning plain text, Arrange returns a series of events that automatically syncs to your calendar, so you can access your plans with 1 tap.
Plans in Arrange are also enhanced with additional APIs to return more complete and useful results. We combine ChatGPT-4o with Google Search and Google Maps so that each event created contains all of the information you’ll need, whether it’s a booking website, restaurant address, YouTube video or recipe link.
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Describe what you want to plan in plain text, just like you would in ChatGPT
2️⃣ Let Arrange generate a series of events you – complete with suggestions, locations, and helpful links – that you can visualize in list view or calendar view
3️⃣ See all of your plans in your calendar, since everything is automatically synced (we support Google, Outlook and Apple calendars)
4️⃣ If your plans involve others, you can easily share your plans with them via link or email
@dostermueller thanks Dan! Yeah, it really does turn ideas into tractable plans without the cognitive burden. The suggestions and links are really fun too.
@leovs09 thanks Vlad - editing calendar events by typing into a chatbot has been so much faster and easier than changing them by hand. I imagine calendar UI is going to continue to evolve in this era, will be fun to follow!
@lizziechka I love hearing this Lizzie! Also, if you want links, you can ask the AI to add them to your events - that way you can book directly and will have everything you need in your calendar :)
@mikestaub interesting! Sharing a plan in Arrange is super easy, you can invite a collaborator via email or link, and when they receive it they'll be able to add everything to their calendar with one tap or click. Have you come across any social calendar apps where user availability is broadly shared? It's such an intimate space for most people, I don't think I've encountered one but curious what I might be missing.
@bfmuir I have only seen broad sharing in an enterprise setting. For communities, it is very common however. https://www.hivecalendar.com/ is one example.
@bonvisions Thanks Bon! We support Apple Calendar (which is what I use on mobile) so long as there is a Google or Microsoft account connected to it. The only thing we don't support is Apple Calendar SSO via a native Apple account. Do you have a Google or Microsoft email account? If so, happy to share how you can connect it to Apple Calendar on mobile or desktop.
@p_val thanks Val! Arrange works with Google and Outlook calendars via SSO, as well as Apple Calendar so long as you've already connected it to a Google or Microsoft account. The events created by Arrange behave like any other event you've created, and are visible anywhere else you can see your calendar - for example, I can see my Arrange events in Superhuman's calendar view, which I use for email. Hope that helps!
This is awesome, @bfmuir! I tested it for travel recommendations in Richmond and compared the results against places we have eaten/stayed/visited in the past while visiting to check for reliability (we've traveled there A LOT over the past 3 years). It mapped closely with what we've been able to find---only it took about 1/50th of the time to get the recs! Can't wait to use it for a few of the trips that I have planned in the next few months. I love how it synchs directly to my Google calendar and makes my life so much easier. It took me 5 minutes to do what has taken hours and hours in the past. Kudos to you and the team!
Just tried it out and this is super cool. Made an itinerary for this weekend, made a bunch of modifications synced it to my google calendar. It found some awesome restaurants. Sent a couple small notes to the developer but already looking good.
Congratulations on launching, Bridgette! 🎉
ArrangeGPT looks like an excellent resource that allows smooth transformation of plans into feasible calendar events. The combination of ChatGPT, Google Search and Google Maps for developing detailed and enriched itineraries is a genius idea. I'm eagerly looking forward to witnessing how Arrange GPT will revolutionize the planning process for users. Wishing you all the best with this fantastic product launch! 🚀
Really impressed with ArrangeGPT, Bridgette! It's exactly what I needed to streamline my chaotic schedule. Big thumbs up for making daily planning this simple and efficient. Great job on the launch!
congratulations on the launch of arrange, bridgette, katie, and lorenzo. i'm curious, how does arrange handle changes in plans or recurring events? does it adapt the entire series of events accordingly in real-time?
@mashy great question Albert - if you have a single recurring event, you can edit it just like you would any other recurring calendar event. If you have a series of events you need to move - eg your travel plans changed or you moved the start date of your Whole 30 plan - you can move those in bulk by editing the start date. You can also change any event(s) via chat by just asking Arrange to move it. No matter what you need to move, it should be just as easy, if not much easier, than in your calendar. Hope that helps!
@kyoko02143764 Hi Earsley! Great question - yes, you can. Once you create a plan in Arrange, you can add it to any calendar connected to your account in plan Settings (if you watch the demo video, you'll see me do this for the plan I created). You can also share any plan you've created with others via email or link, and they'll be able to add it to their calendars with 1 tap or click. Hope that helps!
Arrange is awesome, have loved seeing how far it's come since the beta!! So good for helping me set up recurring plans to help me build healthy habits like my bike rides 💪 Go @bfmuir and Arrange team 🔥
@anastasiia_stepko Thanks Anastasiia! We support Google and Microsoft calendars via SSO login. If you use Apple Calendar and have already connected your Google or Microsoft calendar account to it, then you'll see Arrange there too.
Love this. I spent the day at the Microsoft Build event today and was inspired by the ability to have copilots for everything I'd love to automate. I'd love to set up a plan for deep work and walk breaks. Such a great idea.
@bdougieyo Thanks Brian! Love hearing that - there is so much that's becoming possible and we've only scratched the surface :) re: walk breaks, I use Arrange to add daily walks to my calendar, and sometimes I ask for podcast recommendations too. It was one of my first personal use cases.
