@rrhoover It is, I was doing some research on attacks in the last 30 days to have some data to start with, and found a lot more than the media covered. I am planning to add features like tracking of a hashtag for a certain disaster, and some standardized info on each of them too.
Thank you for making this. While it's tragic to see so many attacks going on in the world, this product does help deliver a global perspective, and help us understand where the most vulnerable people are.
@daspianist I am hoping more people will realize that we must treat all attacks on human life with the same significance. I hope it will raise awareness about conflict areas often forgotten.
@jovanovski Also a quick bug report. When I try to log in with Facebook, I get the following message: "App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions."
Crowdsourcing information about terrorist attacks happening around the world can liberate us from the selected content media like to provide, and give a true picture of what is happening in conflict zones. Moderators browse the reports as they come in to confirm them based on given sources, but unconfirmed reports are still visible in the list as well.
