Transform every drive into an interactive musical adventure. Your car’s music evolves with every turn, acceleration and stop. Inspired by Mercedes’ MBUX Sound Drive, the AudioDrive App turns your daily commute into a musical journey without needing a Mercedes.

We have just released "AudioDrive", an app that makes music based on the way that you drive. As you can see in the video (
), AudioDrive transforms your vehicle into a real-time music making machine. The music gets more aggressive the moment that you accelerate, it becomes calmer when you slow down or even calmer when you stop. AudioDrive also gives binaural sound effects that feels like the sound is moving depending on which way you turn. Our goal has been to turn every drive into a different interactive musical journey. AudioDrive works with any car. You only need an iPhone and a USB or AUX cable (or Bluetooth) to connect your iPhone to your car's audio system. We will also release it on Android as soon as possible. Currently there are six songs that you can choose. Each one is in a different genre (Synthwave, Classical, Blues/Rock, Ambient, Alternative and Nu Metal) and offers a different experience. We will be adding new songs to the app every week. You can download AudioDrive and use it for free with the synthwave song "Night Drive". If you would like to get the best experience from the app, we recommend subscribing to "AudioDrive Pro" which is a US 1.99$ (one dollar and ninety-nine cents) subscription. AudioDrive Pro users can customize their experience by selecting one of the three driving modes, setting the music's reaction time, inputting the horsepower of their cars and adjusting the steering sensitivity. Pro users can also access all existing AudioDrive songs as well as all the upcoming ones that we will be adding every week. You can download AudioDrive from this link: https://apps.apple.com/app/audio... We are very happy to have released this app and we would very much appreciate any comments or feedback! Thank you so much!

This is such a cool concept! How about adding different music genres to choose from, so users can customize their driving experience even more? It would be awesome to have a rock soundtrack for a fast drive or a chill playlist for a relaxing cruise.

Cool product, AudioDrive! Turning drives into a musical adventure is a fun and innovative idea. I saw the actual use on Youtube. The concept of evolving music based on your driving patterns is intriguing and amazing!?. It’s like you’re in a fast-and-furious movie while you’re driving out of the city. This is really cool!

AudioDrive is such an innovative concept! Turning everyday drives into a musical adventure is a unique way to enhance the driving experience. I'm particularly interested in how the app handles different driving environments, like city vs. highway driving. Are there specific sound effects or tunes for different road types? Great job!

Hey Berk, How does the app detect driving behavior? Does it use the phone's sensors, or does it require any additional hardware? It would be interesting to learn more about how you've tackled this challenge. Congrats on the launch!
Berk Ozdem
@kyrylosilin Hi Kyrylo, thank you so much for the message. AudioDrive only uses the phone's sensors, such as GPS, accelerometer and compass, without needing any hardware. Handling the real-time accelerometer data was the hardest as even the smallest turbulence that the car goes into, such as those due to pebbles, road bumps, bad roads, makes the accelerometer go crazy. We had to do a lot of trial-error to find a good pattern that captures the desired acceleration and ignores such artifacts.

Cheers to the launch! Wishing you great success and new milestones. How long did it take to develop AudioDrive?

Wow that is cool idea and also very feasible to keep you ahead or on par with the completion of music generation when focusing on this particular niche.

Now that's a creative approach 😄 Great one!

Sounds like a super fun idea! Just checked out AudioDrive, and it's really interesting how it turns driving into a musical experience. Congrats on the launch, Berk! Can't wait to try it out on my next road trip.

Unique. Congrats on the launch!

@kavyaaatripathi Thank you so much! It really makes our day to hear that! :)

I think this whole idea is kind of unrealistic, I mean how safe is it really to have your attention divided between driving and making music, and not everyone needs more distractions behind the wheel seems like it might cause more harm than good honestly
Julien
Driving to make music sounds cool I guess, but how practical is it really, doesn't it seem distracting, plus saying it's the gold standard for sound feels like a stretch, are you planning to add voice commands to keep it safer or maybe a hands-free option?

@peoplefirstjulien Hi, your response seems ChatGPT generated. You seem to be a bot :(

I’ve been looking for ways to make my daily drives less boring, and this app seems like the perfect solution. I love the idea of being able to create music while driving. it’s an innovative way to make time on the road more enjoyable. The interface looks user-friendly, and I’m curious to see how the music creation aspect works while staying safe behind the wheel.

I stumbled upon this app from an ad while scrolling on my phone so decided to give it a try, I'd say the idea is cool but honestly it feels a bit gimmicky after a couple rides, sound quality is pretty good but how about more control over the types of music generated or maybe a feature to save favorite tracks from a drive does anyone else think it would be better with more customization?
Bulmaro
Not sure how I feel about my music changing with every turn, seems distracting, what happens if I just want to listen to a favorite playlist without it turning into a remix while I drive? Have you thought about adding an option to switch off the dynamic changes on the go?
Adrián
Ok, so I'm trying to wrap my head around this new app where your car basically makes music as you drive, I mean the idea sounds kinda fun but idk how practical it is, I'm just not sure people will go for it especially if you don't have a fancy car like a Mercedes, there’s a lot of potential here but would love to see more real-world examples before getting too excited, not everyone's commute is super inspiring you know

So now my car needs to make music too, how about we focus on fixing actual car issues instead of adding gimmicks, sound clarity is great but doesn't matter in traffic 🚗
