@kjosephabraham i think the biggest challenge was getting the user experience right so it would be so easy & intuitive for a new user to be successful!

Leaving this comment before I test the product but everything, overall, looks really clean. I'm a big Opus.pro user so I'll be interested to see how this stacks up.
Here are my thoughts…
🔥 The Great:
- From a messaging POV, I really enjoy that you guys are taking the approach to calling short-form content "Highlights". Not many companies do that, and it's a great framing device to explain to those who might not get why they need short form, why they need short form.
- Dig the branding/aesthetic
🤔 Subjective Suggestion(s):
- Landing page is nice but I think if you're going to market this new feature (or any new feature) you should have copy on the landing page that supports the source of the traffic - the landing page I got when I clicked your website doesn't mention "Highlights" at all so there's a disconnect between why I'm clicking the link and what I'm getting when I land on the page

@jtoeman This page is muchhhh better - definitely the landing I’d use as the primary as you promote this new feature - far more aligned with the launch

Hey Jeremy, this sounds like a game-changer for content creators! The ability to quickly turn long videos into social-ready highlights is incredibly valuable. How does Highlighter determine the best moments to spotlight?
@web3_antivirus our AI interprets the user's request, then analyzes the content blocks to find and rank most appropriate fits. then you can make simple edits/tweaks to get it just right for your personal needs!
@lxfater sure - our focus is a (1) superfast tool that (2) requires zero learning curve. we do this by giving you a simple doc editor, you literally highlight the copy you want, and thats it. all done. but then we ALSO have 1-click features for adding Transitions, Captions, picture-in-picture, and more.
we haven't seen any other full end-to-end video marketing/creation platforms with similar offerings - would love for you to try it and let me kow what you think!
This looks promising! I like the ability to edit from text and to add some additional content too. Can you export videos in different resolutions and aspect ratios?
@simona_o_neill3 thanks, yes we do! currently Portrait and Landscape, and we're adding Square (1:1) and some custom formats for platforms like LinkedIn that are a little wonky :)
@jtoeman that’s amazing! LinkedIn is a big one. Video is becoming huge on that platform so if you get the video formatting right, your tool has lots of potential to do well.

I’m always spending hours combing through webinars and branded videos to find shareable clips, and it can get overwhelming. Highlighter seems like it could save me a ton of time.
Will there be any customization options for the types of highlights (e.g., emotional, informational, etc.)?
@jtoeman Integrating customizable highlight themes could really elevate the user experience. It would allow creators to align their videos with their brand aesthetics even more seamlessly.

Really impressed with what Augie Studio has created. @jtoeman Have you considered incorporating collaboration tools? Allowing teams to work on the same video highlights could further enhance productivity and creativity for social media managers.

I'm wondering about the AI's accuracy in selecting truly engaging moments. How does it determine what's "highlight-worthy"?
Are there any limitations on video length or format that users should be aware of?

@kyrylosilin hi, good questions! tbh the best outcome will come via giving topic-relevant prompts. so "give me the best moments" will be hit-or-miss, but "give me moments about XYZ" should do very well. let us know how it works for you!
