I cannot support this launch. I was sent an unsolicited bulk email to support this launch. As a reminder, unsolicited bulk commercial email aka "cold email" is SPAM. If you send these emails, you are a spammer.
To be clear, this was not an individually sent email. It was sent via ActiveCampaign to myself and likely hundreds or thousands of others.
This is not the way Product Hunt is supposed to work. Sending out to your own list is okay; spidering or buying emails and then spamming them is not.
@fastfedora1 - Hi Trevor - I forgot to mention how we were connected in that email. We both belong to a community which I wont mention here. It was not a cold blast to thousands - it was a couple of hundred people. I needed to use ActiveCampaign for the unsubscribe and other minor GDPR related stuff. @jude_r I understand that many new founders (and plenty of existing founders) don't understand this, but if you are subscribing me to a list that I did not opt into to send commercial emails to, that is spam.
It does not matter if we are part of the same community. It does not matter if it's a few hundred or tens of thousands. You are sending bulk, unsolicited commercial email, which is the definition of spam (see https://www.spamhaus.org/consume... ).
You are free to individually craft emails and send them. That is an appropriate use of cold emailing. If you are manually sending out emails, you are limited in how many you can practically send and can target each to the individual. But the second you start sending emails out in bulk, you've crossed the line into being a spammer.
It doesn't matter what you think I want or need, or what you want or need. There's plenty of people who might want or need viagra, but when an "entrepreneur" sends out those viagra emails without the recipient asking for them, they are spamming people. Same goes for development services, marketing services and requests to check out your Product Hunt page. Content doesn't matter. Scale and consent do.
@jude_r I did not say that the pricing is high, that's a decision that you made based on your position and it's hard to discuss it, but if you have like 4 pricing plans from low to high it will convert visitors much easier.

Don't take it as challenge, I would be curious to hear what you think are the Unique Value Propositions of Auralis compared to similar products? Found it a bit hard to assess it from just checking the the LPs. Thanks in advance
@julienergan - thanks for the kind words, we use a combination of traditional engineering and NLP coupled with GPT models fine tuned for customer support in our product. I think this is different than a wrapper for ChatGPT which a lot of similar tools use. You can see the difference once you compare them side by side.
@dan_tegzes - Thank you - we are using OpenAI primarily for Auralis Zap but we have fine tuned and prompt engineered the model so it works better for support. We are working on other LLMs like Llama 2 in the background and plan to use them in the coming days.
