Hey PH! Automagical was founded over a few brews last summer at the Rogue Public Ale House in San Francisco, based on the idea that great video content shouldn’t be prohibitively expensive. We’ve spent a lot of time since then making a product that extracts the essence of a story from existing content and uses AI to generate a video storyboard… ✨✨Automagically ✨✨ You have full control over customizing things like text, visuals, branding; you can even add custom CTA to drive engagement. Within minutes of supplying your content, you’ll be publishing your video to your social and ad platforms of your choice. We’ve just scratched the surface of what we think is possible with AI-driven content creation, but we’re super stoked to be sharing with the PH community how far we’ve come. @osakasaul Hey Saul, thanks for the interest, as this is definitely a very relevant question. Although our aim is roughly the same as Lumen's, our product focus has been to invest heavily on the AI aspect of storyboard generation, which Lumen5 doesn't offer publicly at this time. We believe that the AI-driven storyboard generation is the most important differentiating factor for us, but that being said, there's still a long way to go in terms of improvements. We also offer post-video CTAs to drive measurable traffic back to your content, courtesy of a partnership with Wistia, as well as several more large partnerships that will be made public shortly... There are definitely some aspects of Lumen5's platform that are more mature than ours, as they've been around for longer, and we have a lot of respect for their team and product. It's an exciting time to be working at the intersection video and AI, and we're hoping to continue pushing the boundaries here alongside of Lumen. This is a fantastic lightweight tool to create engaging content that can be easily shared through social streams. It's a must-have addition to any online marketer's toolkit.

Pros:

Incredible simple to setup with thoughtful content intelligence.

Cons:

None really at the moment.

$29/video (starting price) is incredibly high. Maybe consider offering a free version with limited features to allow users to get their feet wet. Until you do, I'm sticking with Lumen5's product for turning content into videos.

Really enjoyed using this product, so thank you for the promo for product hunters. Working in a digital agency that makes FB videos this tool is something we will most definitely use for our clients.

Pros:

-intuitive

-easy

-good quality

-able to make video in two minutes without writing new content

Cons:

-lack of video styles

Looks good but many platforms now out there doing the same and MUCH MORE cost effective. I would recommend seriously rethinking your pricing structure. Very nice platform though 👍

It is a good tool with great User Experience. The tons of features it is providing a great add on to gaining interest in using the tool regularly :)

Pros:

Easy blog to video conversion, hardly takes a couple of minutes

Cons:

I really like this tool, and have recommended it to a few other marketers. Video is a medium that gets inordinately high exposure on social, so it's great to have a tool to use in creating quick assets for marketing use. I'd definitely subscribe to a $99 monthly fee for X number of videos.

Pros:

Super fast, streamlined. Saves a ton of time in creating marketing assets.

Cons:

Some blog posts cause errors, unclear why. Relatively high price point for one video ($29).
