I love the desk, but I am in Canada, It seems that it needs 243.44 CAD shipping fee to ship it to Canada. The total will be (338.64 + 243.44) CAD. A little bit sad.

@shantianyun Just a few weeks from the Canadian shipment! We started with the US launch, but we will have it in Canada a few weeks after launch (late August). We recently launched a warehouse in Toronto, so when the pre-sale is over, we will send units to that warehouse for reduced Canadian shipping costs (not to mention covering of duties, taxes, etc.). If you want, you can send your email to human@autonomous.ai (tell them Patrick sent you) and we will make sure you get first crack when units come into Toronto.
@autonomous @niffx Hi Patrick, Its middle of August. Curious for an update here. I hope this does not bothering you. I wonder if you have decided the date on when to send the units to Toronto warehouse? Love the unit so much. Cannot wait for it to get to Canada. lol. :)

@qthanh_le The SmartDesk Mini, which is 31.7 inches long and 23.1 inches, is designed to fit most (if not all) home desks and office desks. But, to be sure, measure your desk with an additional 1 inch of clearance in the front and on the sides to be sure it will fit.

@jahnguyen The SmartDesk Mini can be used by anyone of any height because it sits on top of your existing desk. To understand how tall the SmartDesk Mini will be combined with your existing desk, measure your desk and add the standing height (6 - 23 inch height range) for the SmartDesk Mini. The right way to stand at your desk and to achieve best posture is that the keyboard tray is at the height of your elbows.
How much weight can your SmartDesk mini handle? I have an iMac 27 inches, not sure it is ok on top of your mini desk.
@jolie73842350 No worry, our mini can handle up to 33 lbs (15 kgs) which is perfect for holding up your iMac.
I have the DIY desk and my S.O. one of the prebuilt. Both are great and we love them. The company has been really responsive with all our inquiries. If you're considering a product of theirs, go for it.

@zduboss Hey Zach, good question! Nope! Since we first launched on PH, we built warehouses in LA, SF, and NYC (and even Toronto!) to make shipping faster and easier for anyone, anywhere in the US. We are also looking to add a warehouse either in TX, IL, or OH. Where would you like to see our next one?

@kev9203 The SmartDesk mini has two levels: the top level has a starting height of 6 inches and a maximum height of 23 inches; the lower level (keyboard tray) has a starting height of 1Ā½ inches and a standing height of 18 inches. The monitor arm has a maximum height of 43 inches.
@quanhua92 The mini weighs about 30lbs, so it is portable but might not be easy to just carry around on a daily basis. Still, if you have a LAN party (old school) or a hackathon, you can definitely take it with you.
@risiofficial From the estimated ship date, it usually takes us around 7 - 10 business days to ship the order from California warehouse to India. When we ship the product out of our warehouse, we will send you an email including tracking number and carrier name, so you can check the progress of your shipment ;)
Can I use my desktop on top of SmartDesk mini? Or is this also suitable for laptop users?
@nancydmgpl Desktop, laptop, notebook... It works for all just makesure they do not exceed the weight limit.
