Needing admin rights to install it on the Mac is a non-starter for me.

Hi @brandoncorbin, thanks for your feedback. It's normal for apps to be provided in a .pkg installer, which requires admin but I understand your hesitation. That said, we hope you give the mobile versions a shot. They are available in the official Play Store and App Store. I think you'll appreciate all the privacy and security features that the browser provides, such as the built-in VPN, private vault and password lock, and we can earn your trust over time.
