Hi. I'm not from the open source community, so I'm having issues understanding what exactly does this award platform do? Where are the badges shown for the contributors? Congrats on the launch though 🚀

I’m @jacobkpattara, one of the co-founders at Aviyel, We are super excited to take Aviyel Rewards live on Product Hunt. 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀 Open source projects are the lego blocks of the tech ecosystem and communities define open source projects. Aviyel is a platform designed for open source projects to build, engage and sustain great communities around them. Aviyel Rewards is a delightful reward and recognition platform that can be used by open-source projects to thank, motivate and inspire the community. All contributions that move the community forward - code, content, writing documentation, answering a question, raising an issue or even a tweet - can be recognised and rewarded on Aviyel Rewards. ✅ Project maintainers can easily pick from a list of contributions to reward from across platforms and assign points ( seeds ) to each of these contributions. Contributions are mapped with retrospective effect and points are assigned to contributors. ✅ Points would unlock levels and each level would get the contributor a badge that can be minted as soulbound ( non-transferable ) NFTs along with a detailed log of their contribution history. Contributors can showcase these badges on their profiles and across the internet to build reputation, showcase their amazing work and inspire others. ✅ The soulbound NFTs would ensure that these badges are independent of platforms ( even Aviyel ) and truly owned by the contributor. ✅ These badges are designed to be gate passes for exclusive events, tickets to activities and goods in the physical world and a bunch of really exciting use cases that we have in store. (We would also love your feedback and ideas on how we can make this even more interesting) We are launching with contributions on GitHub and would be adding more contribution types from across platforms over the coming days and weeks. Maintainer? ⬇️ Maintainers can easily sign up to Aviyel (aviyel.com) and onboard your project in a few steps. Contributor? ⬇️ Contributors can sign up, earn your open source contributor badges, mint them as soulbound NFTs and maybe show it off as well - you deserve it. Aviyel team showed me a demo of this new platform last week. I can honestly say this is by far the best initiative to incentivize open source contributions. My main concern with something like this was the additional work the maintainers might need to do, but I can rest assured knowing that it makes the life of the maintainers easy. With an initial setup, you are good to go. Another essential distinction Aviyel made here was to make it easy to track and recognize non-code contributions. Non-code contributions are often overlooked, and they are pretty tricky to track. Building an all-in-one place to track such contributions makes it easy for the maintainers to track and ask for non-code contributions. I can't wait to see what you guys build next!

I'd like to express my gratitude to the community behind the product for their constant support. Yes, this is a community-driven product created solely to recognize the power of open source. We are opening up the entire platform to Makers/Founders, Maintainers, Contributors, and open source enthusiasts.
