Hello Hunters, I'm so excited to introduce you our new online tool: PSD to Sketch Design Converter (currently in Beta). https://avocode.com/convert-psd-... It does pretty much what it says - it can convert a PSD design to a layered Sketch file - including vectors shapes, text layers, basic layer effects, clipping masks, and more. So in case your team is switching to Sketch, you don't have to recreate all your designs by hand - just convert them. For free. This magic is possible thanks to our Avocode technology for parsing designs. Please let us know how useful is this for you: https://avocode.typeform.com/to/... Thank you. @helloiamvu Did one yesterday and never got an email of the finished Sketch file? Were the servers overloaded or something?
Vu Hoang Anh
@bluetidepro thanks for letting me know. I'm glad to hear that. Did the conversion go OK?

@sfhosley Thanks for your comment. Based on the section you mentioned, we can only use and store your designs only if it is directly related to providing our service. In order to render designs properly in Avocode and programmatically assemble Sketch files from our converter, we need to parse these designs first. This means, that our technology is anonymously disassembling the design data structure and saving design assets on our servers. In order for us to do this legally, we need to have these lines in our Terms of Service. However, you don't have to worry, because we cannot open or use in any other way designs that are stored on our servers without user permission. All data is securely stored on AWS servers and encrypted with 128-bit SSL protocol. The wording of this section could be better and we're already working on an update with our lawyer. Please let me know in case of any other questions.

@helloiamvu I understand. The fact that it says you have a transferable license to use my work to promote your service is still a bit troubling, though. I look forward to checking it out after you’ve updated the terms.
Vu Hoang Anh
@sfhosley We've just updated our Terms of Service. We've basically removed unnecessary words. We'll also be adding an explainer to this section to prevent any confusion. I hope this is sufficient. Let me know. Thanks

I used the service, which was free (when sending to your email), and I was happy with the results.

It does NOT pixel match the design, but it does split the layers really nicely, and that's what I was looking for, I just want to export images from Sketch which is way more easily done than in Photoshop.

Will definitely use this service again.

Pros:

I just used it and I'm happy!

Cons:

It's not pixel perfect (but for me that's okay)

HOLY GRAIL! Is this for real?

Can it do the opposite (I'm a Windows user who occasionally is sent Sketch files)?

Yesssss, yes, yes, yes, YESSSSSS!

I've been hoping for this product. Thank you for making it.

I've tried with some of my PSD files. Overall it works fine, but there is one big issue, shape layers. Even for single shape glyphe, it doesn't show up in Sketch when i convert the file. It's weird, in my PSD file there are 5 shapes, just one of them was converted. And also, opacity doesn't work for texts. All of them are converted as %100 opacity. But thanks for this great tool. I hope it's going to be almost perfect with some iterations. 👍🏻

@tahiryuksel Hey, Tahir - we're definitely going to try to make it almost perfect! It would help us if you could report the bug on Github - our team will look at the issue and they'll try to fix it as soon as possible. :) https://github.com/avocode/psd-t...

I love this product but is there any way that I can batch convert more than ten PSD files at a same time? Love from Vietnam

I know right? I also can get so angry when people try to make a buck after months of hard work ;). First use = free. I just discovered this and it saved me a lot of time. Will consider paying after the trial ends.
