BabelShark has been developed to take a place between automatic website translators (like Google Translator) and full-scale localization tools (the one we call i18n). - automatic website translation is fast but gives unpredictable (and often weird) results - classic i18n approach requires paying additional attention to source strings With BabelShark, you develop your website or app without worrying about localization. You just compose HTML or React templates. No need to extract strings and collect them to JSON files or key-value lists. You just mark the elements to translate with "__" CSS class. Your source strings will be translated to user's language automatically. What is very special with BabelShark is that you can edit all these translations! This allows a very rapid product development: write your code and texts => get automatic translations => read and fix if necessary You can edit proofread translations yourself, or let BabelShark community proofreaders do the corrections for you! -- I am founder and lead developer of BabelShark. We designed BabelShark to localize our own projects. It just works! I would be glad to hear your opinion or get questions here!

Looks like a handy tool for the developer. Can it output JSON as result of translation?
Glaznah Gassner
@smart_egg Yes, you can download all source strings and translations as a JSON file.

Congrats on your launch and hello from the Survicate team!

I'd like to highlight a feature we have: community proofreaders. You might not have someone on your team to check (proofread) all necessary languages. BabelShark helps with this by providing "community proofreaders". These are native speakers who are ready to join your project and read/correct translations to a specific language for a small fee.

Installed it today on my website, and within 15 minutes, I had multiple languages available for our visitors. I set it up at unicodentalstudio.com because we have patients from various nationalities checking our website and booking appointments. Our clinic is in a tourist destination known for dental practice, and BabelShark has made it incredibly easy to cater to our diverse clientele. Highly impressed with the results!

@lethalcyborg It was a cool experience of localizing a production website to a dozen of languages within 15 minutes! :)
