Hey Everyone 👋
I'm Brian Dean, founder of Backlinko.
I’m really excited to share The SEO Marketing Hub with the PH community and hear your feedback, questions, and ideas.
☔️ The Problem
It’s no secret that SEO is a super important channel for both startups and established businesses.
The problem is:
Learning SEO can be a giant pain.
Sure, there’s a lot of helpful SEO content out there. But it’s scattered all over the place: blog posts, YouTube videos, podcast episodes, TK and more.
Which makes it tricky to learn SEO in any sort of systematic way.
Well, what if there was a way to learn SEO… in one place?
Spoiler alert: that’s what we just built. 😃
🛠The Solution
The SEO Marketing Hub 2.0 is a new free learning hub that contains over 41 resources for learning about:
Keyword research
On-site optimization
Content marketing for SEO
Technical SEO
Link building
And more
All in all, this new hub contains 57k+ words, 700+ screenshots, and over 150 custom-designed diagrams, charts and visuals.
I’m super excited to be on Product Hunt today! I’ll be around all day today to listen to any ideas and feedback you might have. Thanks!
@backlinko I haven't tried this product, but Brian I remember learning a lot about SEO from your articles back in the day. Went on to do it for name-brand enterprises and SMBs alike and personally vouch for your content. Skyscraper Technique still one of the best SEO articles I've read to this day!
Anybody who's even remotely interested in learning SEO- Brian Dean is one of the best teachers out there!!
@edward_sturm@backlinko Hmm, in General, as practice shows, such advertising placements show a lack of customers. Maybe even a bad rating. I don't know what company it really is, but it's important to check any company before using it. Checking the reliability of the company is a mandatory process for every enterprise. This process is carried out before the direct conclusion of the contract and the beginning of cooperation. But by contacting the Agency, you get not only a ready-made staff of specialists, but also guarantees. And also you will be able to control each stage of work without any unpleasant surprises. For example, my wife has a small production of bouquets, and she creates very beautiful bouquets. There are clients, but I would also like to create a website so that as many people as possible know about her talent. I decided to take up the promotion of her social media page, but it seems to me that I did it badly, because I have absolutely no experience in this area. After searching for information about agencies, I came across seo services in Singapore and decided to work with them because of the good reviews. My wife was very happy that she had as many new clients as possible .
Nice work, it looks great! Years ago, in 2013, I read your blog and it helped me think of more unique tactics to build quality links.
The SMH name is a little funny to me because it's kind of generic rather than branded, but that may be deliberate.
May I also suggest a course that tends to be absent from most SEO training resources? SEO for web developers.
Many of my fellow developers build applications and sites, but don't consider SEO and accessibility implications by default. Additionally, developers can perform tasks programmatically and integrate useful features into their apps, which puts us into a completely different category when it comes to SEO implementation.
@orvn Thank you. And good suggestion there. Developers actually have the potential to be awesome at SEO because they already how how to code. And can therefore handle technical SEO issues relatively easily.
@backlinko Yeah, exactly.
And they also have the potential to mess it up spectacularly. Say by building a frontend single page app that renders no HTML and injects everything with obfuscated JS.
Hi Brian,
this is a great chance for me to say THANK YOU for all the expertise you share with the world. I've been a standing reader of Backlinko blog for more than a year already, and it's always been a source of inspiration for our team. I am enrolling into the hub, and I'm full of excitement :)
Hi Brian, I think this is great. I know there are other SEO leaning hubs out there that are also of a very high quality. I would love to see more of the various ways to optimize for specific platforms and channels, like optimizing for Amazon, optimizing for Pinterest, optimizing images (there's a whole world of things to do with images, including High-Res, 3D, AR, etc.), optimizing for Google News, and so on.
