Hey there, I'm Max! At Basedash we're building a tool that lets you safely give database access to anyone on your team, like customer support or operations. We're trying to replace custom internal tools and admin panels with a single polished, and opinionated product. Think of it like Airtable for your SQL database. When we launched on Product Hunt this summer, one of our most requested features was the ability to self-host Basedash on your own servers—so we spent the past month building exactly that. We expose a public Docker image which you can run in your own VPC and behind your existing firewall. It works on anything that supports Docker. This lets you have the highest level of security, no matter what industry or security regulations your company needs to meet. To start, we're offering self-hosting on our Enterprise plan, which includes all the bells and whistles you'd expect like unlimited views, data sources, and edit history, as well as dedicated support and white-glove onboarding. We'll help you deploy your Basedash instance no matter where you're hosted and make sure you're up and running with a couple views. Hey product hunt! I'm one of the developers that helped build out our self-hosting offering for Basedash users! I've tried to make the setup process as simple as possible so that you can quickly get Basedash hosted on the servers of your choice. As @maxmusing mentioned, we provide a public Docker image you can download and we also provide some setup scripts that will set things up for you on a linux-based server.
