Baseline is an easy to use brand design tool. It helps you set up a solid brand and then leverages it to create branded designs without effort. Now anybody can create a consistent, memorable brand.
Been a long-time Norde user and as a one-man company with multiple brands... this checks all the boxes. Happy to have scooped up one of the lifetime offers (Yay!!)
Congratz to @gillisig on this great launch!
Hi Folks ,
I'm happy to show off my new baby to all of you finally. Baseline is a design tool that helps you create on-brand content at incredible speed.
Here is how it works:
First Baseline helps you create a solid brand guide by guiding you through a few simple steps. The brand guide gives you everything you need to keep your brand consistent across different platforms by making it easy to copy-paste values and CSS to wherever you need.
Then Baseline Studio takes over. There you will find hundreds of templates for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, ProductHunt, and more. All of which only need a single click to apply your brand to. No cumbersome color changes, font changes, or logo changes are required. Baseline takes care of all that for you. All you have to do is edit the text and images.
As a result, Baseline makes content creation for your brand amazingly simple. It saves a lot of time when compared to alternatives like Canva. Something that could take hours can take under a minute.
It's still early days so we don't have a huge selection of templates but we are actively adding templates everyday and improving with features.

@tylerswartz Thanks! Tough question, which actually made me realize there isn't a good way to share a template via link without having an account. I should probably do something about that. But my favorites at the moment would probably be the product hunt templates I used for this launch because, well, they helped me launch! :D
@greggblanchard eat your own dog food, as they say :D It would have been embarrassing to not do it. I'm also trying to be more active on social media just so that I can use the social media templates and eat more of my own dog food.
@tobin_harris ah, sorry about that. I just pushed a bugfix for that so it should be working now. Thanks for the support and I hope the brand guide is useful for you. Let me know if I can help you with anything else!
I've been taking this product on a test drive for about an hour now and can already tell its going to be part of my daily production. I cannot wait to see this product continue to develop. Great job all around @gillisig
Wow, this looks incredible. Well done on building this! You're going to save people SO MUCH time and worry trying to make sure the design is always "on-brand." Awesome job man!
I can see a lot of 3rd party agencies wanting this to manage content for their clients! So would you consider creating a login system similar to how MailChimp offers agencies, for example? Excited to give it a whirl
@bernadette_judd I'm not familiar with the login system MailChimp offers agencies, how does that work? I'm definitely interested in offering better solutions that fit agencies since I think they are the ones that can benefit the most from this.
@gillisig I don't know how it works internally, I've only experienced it as a user. But basically, I have 1 login and then choose which client account I want to access in that session (I can easily switch accounts, though). They have previously approved for me to have access to their accounts, and the level of data I can view. Their subscription plans may vary, that doesn't hinder my access and they are responsible for payment. I found this article which may help. https://mailchimp.com/help/manag...
@bernadette_judd that is already partially implemented. You can share a brand with other users. However I have yet to implement the user being able to modify designs, but it's coming soon! I'd love to pick your brain a bit as a marketer, are you on twitter?
@gillisig I am not... but I'm happy to email or Zoom or something if that? I'm yet to play around with Baseline, I'm still inputting my brand assets. I'd love to be able to use it to create basic visuals for clients that outsource content marketing to me, though.
I am sure you’re helping revolutionise the whole tedious procedure of designing and selling a brand. Great work !
Also, With limited designs and templates how do the users know that they are designing a complete new brand and logo that hasn’t already been made through baseline. Are there any ways through which you avoid repetition of ideas and designs?
@gupta_ayushh I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but the designs users make from scratch is entirely their own property. So I guess the answer is no?
Also I think design will always have trends and periods where everybody designs similar stuff, because that's how it has always been. However hopefully Baseline can at least make sure the design is distinct to your own brand and stand out in that way.
@gillisig Congratulations on the launch! It feels like a responsive brank kit. And Product Hunt gallery templates??!!! WOW! I'm impressed 😍
How about creating a discussions post so that more community members can make use of the templates for their product launch? 😉

@adityavsc Yeah sure! You want to start the post? I'm not familiar with the rules of the discussion forum so I'm not sure if I even can, since it would be self-promotion?
A stepwise manual given will be so beneficial along with various templates for all our social media platforms. Easy background removal and stock photos, and automatic branded assets available will enhance the image all the way. Your easy interface will save a lot of effort and time.
It will help us create an impressive image without any cumbersome effort. The guide will be useful to help maintain consistency of our brand followed by aesthetic templates for our social media handles. Downloading ASAP.
I'ma big fan of this, having the remove background tool included is a really nice touch! Always find myself having to switch between different platforms, but baseline seems to have all you need in one place!
