I like the idea a lot. I have been spending so much time in calls in my previous companies. Having direct access to recordings would have saved a lot of time. I guess integrations with big conferencing players like Microsoft Teams now and Cisco would be your next steps, right?
@benoit_chambon Thank Benoit! At the moment we have quite a large range of companies using Beam. Some relatively small teams do use it for specific purposes (e.g. product teams housing customer research). We have found that the value does increase more as orgs get larger and communication issues become a bigger problem.
Hello Product Hunt đź‘‹
I’m Patrick, the founder of Beam. I’m super excited (and nervous!) to be showing Beam to a community I have admired for so long.
Beam is an internal Youtube for your company. We turn your video calls into asynchronous video you can watch back later, getting your team aligned and in-the-know like never before.
I started Beam out of frustrations I encountered while working at previous companies. As an employee constantly attending meetings I didn’t need to be in, and then as a leader trying to get our team working efficiently and from the same page.
Beam solves this by extending the life of your meetings. Our beta customers are using the product to solve a huge variety of problems; from making their all-hands available to their global workforce to analysing employee interviews to conducting customer research.
One thing we’ve worked really hard on is making information very quick to access in Beam. We’ve done that by implementing search across all of your videos, including the capability to clip and highlight the most important parts, and a bunch of other features you can see in our demo.
We are super excited to be launching today after so much work. Thank you, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!
