would love some more ways to discover the right micro podcasts. so very excited for the next things you ship!
@muellaire in the first two months we have seen young creators taken to Beams talking about their passions on e.g. surfing, football, nail art, meditation, poetry as well as topics around creativity and identity.
And thank you also for your point on discovery. As for now we offer a discovery of fresh content and new community members when you open search on our app. In the near future we will provide more ways to discover both great people to collaborate on a podcast as well as new great content.
Beams brings real community back to social platforms. The collaborative aspect is an amazing way to get to know people all around the world.
Biased, but I've been loving playing around with Beams - so much more intimate and casual than a long podcast or conversation. These are the digitally healthy social spaces we need!

We decided to launch on iOS to get live as soon as possible and are also working on bringing Beams to Android. The reason we have built Beams is because we saw the unique opportunity of creating a space for people to come together and start podcasts within seconds. A place where everyone can leave up 90-seconds voice notes on subjects that matter to them.
We launched Beams in the iOS App Store in April 2021. It's the easiest way to start a podcast with others.
I love playing with this app with my family. We use it as an audio journal. It is an intimate, authentic way to share experiences and start conversations. This app is the positive change social media needs.
To me voice is one of the most interesting media channels of Todays time. Beams is super interesting to listen and definitely going to be one of the leading apps in voice. It’s a complete new format and I’m super excited to see/hear people doing collaborative podcasts🔥🔥🔥
