Got these today to replace my wireless Studio beats that I broke last week. Tried it out in the gym today and love it!
Hussein Yahfoufi
After months of delay these are finally available today! They have the same tech features of the AirPods (easy sync, W1 chip, etc) but will not be as easy to lose and more stable for gym/running/sports use.

In China, I use the Kuwo magnet switch wireless headphone. Great sound with $2 price tag. Update: It is ≈ $20 . My apologies.
Bojan Spaic
@tahatayyab Are those the best of the bunch of Chinese wireless sport headphones in your experience?
Taha Maddam, CFA
@bojanspaic Kuwo is kind of Chinese Spotify but they also produce wireless headphones. I found their headphones quite competitive in terms of sound quality and definitely price (comparing to both local and international brands) . In additional to me, there are 248,031 people who rate their said headphone 4.8/5.0. For more details, Visit this link https://world.tmall.com/item/522...

@tahatayyab In the US I recommend these under-$20 wireless buds from AWEI. They work great, and have the same lovely magnets! https://smile.amazon.com/gp/prod...
..
@tyjayo how's the sound quality on those?
Alex Cervasio
Are these really better than AirPods?
Tyler Smith

I have typically been against using Beats headphone as I felt they were expensive for what you got. After getting a pair for free I can say that the audio quality is better than most headphones that I've owned and that the overall value is probably worth the price.

Pros:

Lightweight. Charge quickly. Good sound. Comfortable.

Cons:

A bit expensive. Requires an iPhone charging cable.

Too late. I went with PowerBeats3.
Hussein Yahfoufi
@pointum how do you like them? I almost pulled the trigger but decided to wait. Going to pick these up today.
Maxim Ananov
@husseinyahfoufi I enjoy them. The only downsides are USB connector and no magnets
Mike Coutermarsh
@pointum same & I really like them.

I'm sure it's a very fine product, but $150? Come on, I got SkullCandy Wireless for the third of this price, and I absolutely love them. The only thing they don't have is magnets, but I kinda don't see the point of these. As for the rest - I use them for cycling and during my training; I even do handstands in them - they stay around my neck in 90% of the time. They have a mic, and they last after a full charge (USB) like forever. Definitely longer than 8 hours. The sound quality is great. If BeatsX really had NO wires whatsoever, only earbuds - THAT's what I would have paid for over a hundred and even more, but not for yet another wireless earphones with wires, sorry.

It's been a long wait - looking forward to picking some of these up!

All good but I really hope they are available in India 😂
Elavenil
@torchaj too bad, it was informed that it will be available on Feb10 in India, but still no product in Amazon
Robin M Koppensteiner
Wait, they are wireless, but have wires? Mind blown...

Does anybody know the ipx rating of these?

Is it just me that read the product name as "Beat Sex" ? "Hey I like your earphones. Yeah, Beats X"

so funny all the buzz around bluetooth earbuds now that Apple's in the game. I (and lots of people) have been using bluetooth earbuds for a good while now, and yes they are a game-changer, but it's definitely not a "new" category. also lmao that people are like "oh these are like next level AirPods...they're connected!" Apple just christopher columbus'ed this category, which already existed. Shout out to JayBird and J-Lab.
Reed Porter
Not a huge fan of the dangling cable though, not sure why they didn't include something to bundle it up like the jaybird did with the bluebuds x.
Jijo Sunny
I know this is not supposed to be compared with wireless headphones, but Bose QC35 still looks like a winner for daily use (running, etc.)
Mike Coutermarsh
@jijo_sunny I use those for work, but not walking around/running. Too bulky. Noise cancelling a bit dangerous on city streets. And I'm worried I'd break them 😀

The magnets are a really nice cherry on top 🍒
Edvins Antonovs
I was thinking a lot about AirPods but now I guess I found a good replacement for it
Angel
Love that magnetic feature... what a useful little feature
