As your newsletter grows and evolves, allowing readers to update their preferences is key to keeping them engaged and reducing churn. With our new Subscriber Preferences feature, it's all handled seamlessly right out of the box.
Subscriber Preferences help transform newsletter operators into full-fledged media businesses.
A few examples of how it works in practice:
• If you host events → readers can opt-in to receive emails specifically about upcoming events, preventing uninterested readers from unsubscribing.
• If you have multiple newsletters → readers can easily browse and select which ones they want to receive.
• If you send a daily newsletter → readers can choose to receive just one edition per week, helping to prevent them from unsubscribing entirely.
This new feature makes creating a personalized experience for your audience easier than ever. Check it out and let us know what you think!

This is a game-changer for newsletter operators! @tyler_denk, what insights do you have on how this might impact engagement metrics over time? I'm curious about the potential for better retention rates with the Subscriber Preferences feature. Could you also share any plans for further enhancements in the future?
@tyler_denk@elke_qin This should improve engagement and retention rates over time because you're giving subscribers more control over the content they receive. We just launched the feature, but can share more concrete data once we have it! We'll also expand + build on this feature once we have more user feedback.
Hey Tyler,
I'm wondering how it handles data privacy and user consent, especially with regulations like GDPR in mind.
Do you have any early data on how this feature has impacted engagement rates for newsletters using it?
Congrats on the launch!
This looks super interesting, @tyler_denk! The Subscriber Preferences feature seems like a game changer for newsletter creators aiming to boost engagement. I'm curious, what kind of data do you expect to collect on preferences, and how can it be used to enhance ROI? Also, do you foresee any challenges in implementing this for existing subscribers? Looking forward to hearing more about the success stories!
@tyler_denk@antoine_gauthier_ - So far it's been a smooth rollout for existing subscribers. The main data will be around feature usage, i.e. what preferences are being set up and how often are readers adjusting their preferences. We'll use that to enhance the feature + the overall product
Congrats ,Tyler! This feature sounds like a great way to keep readers engaged and prevent unsubscribes. Personalization is key these days, so this seems like a solid addition. Looking forward to trying it out!
