we are finally launching blip today! you can now order clothes from your favourite brands, such as the indian garage co., ketch, richberry, riactive, etc., and have them delivered in 30 minutes. we first launched back in march in mumbai. the initial traction was great, but the catalogue size was limited and had difficulty expanding our offerings and brands. we went back to the drawing board and thought about what makes this scalable! but before all of that, we wanted to understand if people really need their clothes delivered in 30 minutes. our initial launch in mumbai wasn't sufficient. to understand consumers better, we launched a fake store scraping all of myntra's catalog and launching it pan india. orders started flowing in. we weren't fulfilling any orders, but we used to call the customer up and understand why they needed clothes in 30 minutes. with our cac of ₹32/order and qualitative data, we understood a clear demand for this segment of customers and started working on it. concluding our research across cities in india and talking to more people irl and brands, we understood the need and demand for it. over the past few months, we have been working on our tech, finding tech partners who would enable us, hyperlocal delivery providers, brands willing to experiment, and much more. i am very proud of what we (me & @kedi_boii) have been able to accomplish. this is just a start. we have many more amazing and popular brands coming onboard our platform. really excited for what's coming in the following weeks and days. peace 🕊️
